We went there this, (2009) Easter. It was advertised as an Easter egg "hunt". This was a complete let down. The year prior, (2008), we took our kids there and it was great, (2008= plastic eggs filled w/ candy & stickers. 2009= a hunt for "eggs" that were just laminated paper eggs inside the animals bins.) At first I thought, okay maybe my kids will have fun still- but then my children said, "this is so boring". Even my youngest felt this way. Other people were saying that their children were saying the same thing. (And these were children ranging from 5 and up that were saying this.) When I asked the staff about why they had gone form real plastic eggs that were WELL hidden, (making for a real hunt- not just thrown on a big field of grass- BORING)- to now laminated paper eggs in the animals bins the answer was silly. They told me that they did this because last year some of the bigger or more aggressive children took all of the eggs. I remember my daughter seeing some of the younger children looking sad so she gave took some of her eggs out and hid them for them to find. ANyway- it is a part of life however, that these children learn that some people are greedy and how to handle them, It is not right to take away the fun for all because these kids took away the fun for some of the kids. (Perhaps the staff could have suggested to people as they entered that the kids should only take a dozen eggs, and once they found that, to please stop to make t fun for all.) I think they were using this as an excuse to not pay for more plastic eggs and candy. (after all, how expensive is it to hang up about 15 laminated eggs that all the kids look for?) IT IS NOT AN EGG HUNT- IT WAS A SCAVENGER HUNT TO FIND LAMINATED PAPER "EGGS". They were not very clear on this at all and many if the kids were disappointed- for the kids on Easter it should be a real hunt for real or plastic eggs.

I have no idea why there are so many complaints in the reviews. Sure everything in life would be better if it was free, but this is reality. We came for Easter. There was plenty of free activities and you can bring your own food to cut costs. We bought our food, and thought the quality and prices were fine. There were also more options than some reviewers say. We had cheesesteaks and wraps. The staff was really friendly. The animals look well cared for. The goat run in particular is neat. There is a private breastfeeding and changing area, which was awesome. Yes there were port-a-potties, but they cant put plumbing out there. They were well maintained, not a big deal. Go when the place is open and get yourself a wagon, and youre good to go. Also people are considerate when it opens. As it gets crowded, people stop looking out for each other and start cutting each other off. Go early and hit the activities you want first, so you can leave when people start getting cranky ☺

I just wanted to let everyone know that every time I visit this farm with my son, which is about once a week, the older staff is extremeley rude and intolerant of the kids. Since they make a bulk of their money off of the kids visiting I think they would train their older staff to be kinder. They could learn a few customer service tips from the teenagers that work there. I leave there with a bad taste in my mouth everytime. I just dont get it. With how bad the economy is they should be bending over backwards to praise their customers for keeping their farm running by spending money there. I would hope they would feel bad for putting their customers who came there in a good mood into a bad mood. Especially to be so upset and disgusted to write a comment about it. The farm is great and so is the fruit, but the people running it make it a bad expereince overall. If my son didnt love it so much and I didnt love picking my own fruit I wouldnt go back.

We had our daughters 3rd birthday party here. It was awesome. The price was reasonable. It was a hundred dollar deposit and $230 due the day of. That covers fifteen kids and unlimited adults. The kids had the most amazing time! Our day started with a fantastic horse drawn wagon ride that seats forty! Everyone had a blast. Petting zoo, tons of animals, mini motorized tractor rides, animal show and a bounce house. Some of the adults even bought the weeks veggies and fruits from their market and some even went and picked their own veggies and strawberries. We had an incredible time and our guests commented that it was the best party ever. I own a business, so I know how important all reviews are. I just had to rave about this place. It was great.

This small family farm had grown into a large scale operation with several farm attractions to keep your kiddos entertained. Paying an admission gets you in... just like a theme park. Admission required even to pick your own - which seems ridiculous. There is a little to do which does not require you to buy tickets. However most "attractions" require at lest 3 tickets to do - such as ride trikes, cow bounce house, pony rides, wagon ride through the fields etc. Pop a quarter into a gumball machine to get a TINY HANDFUL of alfalfa pellets to feed the various animals. They could have given better proportions though. Overall though, kiddos always have fun here and was a family holiday tradition to come to UFF throughout the year.

We love Underwood Farms! The annual pass is the way to go! Train rides, a play ground, adorable animals you can feed, pick your own fruit, tractor rides and MORE!!! Its the perfect size for tots, we usually stay 1-2hrs and its more than enough to get in what you want. I found out they arent certified organic, but they are an organic farm! We usually pick a berry or two and eat them right off the plant without worry. ✔️✔️✔️✔️ They do group events and birthday parties and the seasonal events are always a hit with my kiddos. A gift card is a perfect gift for a kids birthday and its only $36 for a season pass!

We love Underwood Family Farms, so we had our daughters 3rd birthday party there. It is an amazing location for parties! The guests dont just sit and stare at each other making polite conversation, they get out and play with their kids! Pony rides, bounce house, tractor rides, the little train--its all included in the price of the party! Also, the party is kicked off with a wagon ride around the farm and fields. You do have to plan to bring your own food and cake, candles, and decorations, but you dont need much because the setting sets the theme. Overall it was a great experience, and the kids had SO MUCH FUN!
