Not my first experience with abysmal customer service at this Nordstrom, but this particular occurrence pushed me over the edge. I showed up around 5:15 at TopShop and looked around for about 10 minutes without anyone offering to get me a room or help me out. Eventually one girl asked if she could start me a room (which was obvious, considering my hands were full). I continued shopping and went to the room she gave me, only to realize that another womans clothes and purse were already in it! I had to spend time finding the girl, who was out on the floor, to ask if she could put me in another room. Then she NEVER came back to check on me to see if I needed other sizes. Mind you, they were NOT busy. There was one other customer in the dressing room. Anyway, after waiting a while to see if the girl would come back, I get dressed, go back out, and grab a pair of jeans in another size. A different girl out there offers to help me out. I return to the dressing room feeling much better, especially when she assures me shell check on me to see if I need different sizes since she knew that was my difficulty the first time around. So Im waiting around in there hoping she will come back out and I wont have to get dressed AGAIN just to grab one pair of pants. She never comes. Just like the first girl. So I get dressed, go back out, find another size, and return to my dressing room. I notice the first girl who helped me standing around, talking to her friend. DOING NOTHING. REMEMBER THEY ARE NOT BUSY! These sales women do not deserve any commission from the nearly $300 I gave them! It was an awful, embarrassing experience. After that, I went across the way to brass plum to see if I could find something better and return my first pair of pants. No one offered to help me there, and someone even saw me struggling to get a garment off a rack up high and didnt offer to help. Again, no one helped me in the dressing room either. For the quality of clothing they offer and the type of customer they hope to attract, they are SERIOUSLY doing a disservice to themselves. I am a loyal customer but honestly I never want to come back here again. As I stated, it was my third time experiencing this total lack of service. My advice is to hire some professional men and women to conduct sales, not some vapid teens who gossip while a customer is in need. You all disgust me.

What a great experience. I called ahead and spoke to Desiree who proceeded to pull a selection of mens linen attire together for a trip to the tropics. When I arrived I was placed in a changing room with a wide assortment of shirts and pants and for the next 90 minutes it was Pretty Woman in reverse. Id put something on, ask Desiree and the other girls what they thought and got a lot of "Not loving it...let me get you something else." I hate clothes shopping so it was nice to be able to delegate the chore. When I left I had 80% of my needed wardrobe for the trip. Desiree was a huge help. I put one of the shirts she selected on the next day to wear to Sunday brunch and my wife said. "I LOVE THAT SHIRT ON YOU! I THINK THATS MY FAVORITE SHIRT EVER!!" Mission accomplished. If youre wanting expert assistance selecting clothes that actually flatter your less your than perfect body, go see Desiree. Shes easy to spot, she doesnt dress like anyone else on the planet. LOL The girls got style.

What began as an online order from Nordstrom two months ago finally ended today after 4 visits to Nordstrom at Mission Viejo. Allow me to summarize: 1) they sent me the wrong dress 2) sent me a new dress that smelled strongly of body odor 3) agreed to have it dry cleaned and then lost it 4) found it two weeks later and then said that fabrics sometimes pick up odors when being shipped. Seriously!? No one apologized to me for all the crap they put me through until I demanded it from the manager. This has to be the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life.

Outstanding is the word I would use to describe my experience at the cafe. Great selection of food, wonderful customer service. Fiona had me smiling before I took out my wallet, and Cedric is quite possibly the only person I've ever met who cared about how my food tasted more than I did. I will be back, and if you're reading this, I'd suggest you give them a try. I can think of a few places that could learn a few things from this modest miracle.

Karen Foster in the dress department is an asset for Nordstroms. Karen drove from Mission Viejo to San Clemente to personally drop off a dress 2 hours before my daughters wedding. Its nice to know that theres still service with a big outfit like Nordstroms - Thank you Karen!

From time to time we hear not so good stories about this particular store and I used to dismiss them, however, the last few times I have been there it has been I have, personally, witnessed how uncaring the majority of the sales staff is, hence my 2 stars only.

30 minute drive (each way) to get to this Nordstrom only to be told they dont sell Christian Dior sunglasses. Why would you pick and choose which store gets which brand?? You say you sell the brand so have it available at every store!?

Cashier said she would be right back after I gave her my money and did not return. I waited for ten mins and she never returned. I left. Either she was not trained or she could not handle seeing a lousy 100 dollar bill.

My favorite Nordstrom location. I come mainly to purchase my Nars cosmetics. Tabitha always helps me out, she is very knowledgeable and great at making me look my best! I also love the shoe department here.
