Horrible experience. I asked if I can have my battery replaced. Front desk told me, "well check first, maybe you dont need to buy new battery. Give me a couple of minutes." no questions about the car, symptoms, and my info - ok 20 minutes later and 3 phone calls after, another customer walked in, took information, symptoms, and made a phone call to help the customer. So I stood up, I asked "are we gonna do this?" He said, "well I said wait a couple of minutes didnt I? Im kind of busy here." A "couple" means TWO! not 20, not 30... and you need to help the customer who came there first! So I walked out of the shop, parked in front of the service bay, I asked one of the mechanics directly to help me test my battery and so he did. my battery is ok, didnt need a replacement, thank God! I dont have to deal with them. If you have any other choice of going somewhere else, I highly advise do so.

My appointment was at 11 I went before and WILL B told me that they cant work on my car because they r behind but if I wanted I could leave my car there and come back until 2pm because they are behind from cars are left there since yesterday what kind of business is this, THIS IS A REALLY BAD SERVICE they make you think you have an appointment and when u go there they tell you some story that doesnt even make sense, the webside having some troubleshooting and is been like that since two year. I never have heard nothing like that all the time I make my appointment and go they do there work but today I dont know this people the have is making this business to go down cause they are making people leave and leave bad feebacks bad reputation that people rather go somewhere else.

Really unreliable workers, they dont meet there own expectations. Just wanted to get get my cooling system checked, when they told me it would be done, I would call to hear some excuse, but still was given a time to call back when they said "theyd be done". a day and 6 hours later they finally told me there compressor wasnt working. Something that couldve been said once instead of saying 3 times they had someone working on it. Seriously unprofessional, They lied about there ability to get a simple task done, And have no idea how to speak to customers. Overall a huge waste of time, unreliable service, and they just screw you over with over priced parts and labor, Just stay away from the autoshop service.

I got a loaner tool returned it and asked how long it would take for the money to go back in to my account and I was told one or two business days. Its been over a week and no refund. When I made the purchases, the money was out of my account and in to Pep Boys account the moment I swiped my card so why do I have to wait over a week for the funds to go back into my account? Also, I contacted Pep boys via email as suggested on their auto reply to this post but its been 5 days and no reply. Thank goodness the money did finally go in to my account today but it took 10 days.

A friend got a flat on the freeway today. Several tire station was closed due to it being a Sunday evening.. Call costco they were booked and tire was way over prices just for one. Call Pep Boys and one was about to close call Pep Boys in East LA Carlos was willing and ready to help. Got the tires off my friends car brought it to Carlos. Not only was Carlos ready but his co worker Jordan was ready and egaer to help us out. Gave us a GREAT deal as well. Thank you Carlos and Jordan you are both an ANGEL. This customer is very satisfy.

Apparently warranties are not honored at all locations. Had to drive to another Pepboys to have it honored although they told me when I purchased the warranty that it SHOULD be accepted at ANY. Even when I get a flat tire which is what I got. The reviews here seem pretty accurate for this establishment. If the warranty is not acceptable at all Pepboys customers should Consider FIRESTONE COMPLETE AUTO CARE. Like the service at Downey, but I sure did NOT like the service here since I had to drive to Downey to have the warranty accepted.

The people working here are so rude over the phone and even more in person, especially some older hispanic man that works in the back part of the store. Called to put some snow chains on hold and he answered, rudely, said they did have them, asked for my name and hung up before I was done speaking. Arrived at the store and they did not have the snow chains he had "put on hold" because they had not had any in stock for over a day, he just laughed about it and gave me and my family attitude. So unprofessional, hate this place.

Went for an oil change had a little over an hour before closing. When I pulled up none of the workers acknowledged me I sat in the car for over 10 minutes. I had to walk up to them and ask them if they can do an oil change . The worker said no we are too busy . Horrible service. The workers were not at all professional they were in their own world talking among themselves ... I recommd new management. This place doesnt deserve any stars it would not let me post without tapping one

5 Hour Oil Change! -Dropped off car @ 11:30am. Told it would take about 2 hours, fine.... -Called back @ 2:30pm. Still not done, was told it would take 30 min, 50 min MAX... -Showed up @ 4:30pm. car is barely getting oil replaced! -Car was done @5:10pm! WORST oil change experience.Waited around all day for this to be done soon when I was told it wouldnt take this long. Just horrible. If you are fine with waiting hours for a 20 minute job, then check it out, otherwise stay away.

Pepboys used to be the store to buy stuf for my cars. I was nit much into autozone but whenever I check prices, I see that pepboy is 10 % expensier than autozone. I have a 2014 kia optima that i have to replace my battery and they have it for 200 and autozone has it for like 180. Guess where I am gonna buy it? Now I remember why I stopped going there. No rating since I want to be paid 10 % for my positive commenta. I hope that like how it feels.

I went to get an oil change and they told me that it will take to two hours to get my car. So I said ok. So I went home. Been more then 4 hours, so I decided call them and they told me they are barely changing the oil and will call me back when it was done. So they call me after two hours that my car is ready. So if your looking for an oil change than dont go to Pep boys look for another place that will not take a long time to do a oil change.

Made a appointment for 6. Got to pep boys at 5:45 and the guy at the counter said he was going to call me to reschedule right when Im walking in. I rescheduled for a couple days later and came back just to have a alignment done. When it was done mike told me that I needed 2 new tires. I found it funny considering I had just got all 4 replaced. Worst costumer service plus they tried making sales without even looking at my tires.
