I was a advocate of General Discount absolutely loved their store and products and today I decided to pay them a visit to purchase some bath towels for my bathroom and some other decorative items I brought with me my green canvas bag in which I had my work shoes hat in laptop with cords and other electronical things. I do not own a car I catch the bus everywhere so there was no way for me to leave my bag anywhere despite a recent visit I had with them prior where a computer cord was mysteriously missing from my purse after leaving it with them I decided that keeping my bag with security wasnt safe enough. Today entering the store the security guard greeted me and I walked and proceeded to shop then he stopped me and called me back and told me I needed to turn in my back I proceeded to tell him that I would not be giving him my purse because my items arent safe there he proceeded to tell me that I could not be in the store if I did not turn in my purse to him so I proceeded to continue to shop and I told him I would speak to his manager he followed me and proceeded to intercept the direction I was walking and snatched at the towels that were in my hand telling me that I needed to leave. The security guard here is extremely rude and disrespectful I asked him to get out of my personal space and to go get his management he told me that the police and security guards were waiting for me at the door and if I didnt comply I would be going to jail.... He then proceeded to get in my face again and snatched at the merchandise out of my hand I became agitated and felt threatened so I raised my voice and told him he needed to get out of my personal space at this point Im walking towards the counter where the management is in and waiting for him to assist me for over 10 minutes when I finally got his attention and began to tell him what happened he told me he needed to hear both sides of the story and that I was being disrespectful to his security guard by informing him of what happened when I proceeded to inform him of the disrespectful manner in which I was treated he told me that he would not be able to help me and that I needed to leave. Im not sure what kind of business these people are running but I would not shop here or any general discount for that matter. like I said before I was an avid Shopper and so was my family I hope to hear from corporate soon or speak to someone in a higher management position to come to some resolution because Im extremely unhappy and felt as though I was threatened. I am a female 22 years old I wasnt disrespectful to this man at all until he disrespected mebut threatening the customers getting in their face matching merchandise out their hands threatening to push them over... I was extremely upset coming home from a tiresome day and the horrible shopping experience at your local General Discount Store horrible service they treat people here like theyre criminals and they dont matter now what kind of company treats their loyal customers like this customers they know that live in their community and Shop here often?

Horrible cashier lady, I was going to buy an item and then before i even payed, she accused my mom of stealing, which was dumb because my mom did her transaction with her. They, also did not want to give me a discount on an item that was used.
