I used to run the Chandler bike path every night and jogged past this place all the time but never went in. Eventually I got curious enough and checked it out. Its HUGE, with so many books I didnt even know where to begin. All of the books are in good condition and are really cheap. The gentleman behind the counter knew his way around the labyrinth of shelves and directed me to some really neat finds. Check this place out!

Im generally a fan of brick and mortar bookstores and feel compelled to support the mom and pop stores.As much as I love Amazon in all forms Prime, Fresh, etc I fear the day I can no longer touch the things I intend to buy before I buy them dammit. So do what you do best, hipsters of Los Angeles, CA , browse with your overpriced coffee in hand, bike locked outside, and loiter like youve never loitered before.

This is my favorite used bookstore in the world, surpassing even Powells in downtown Los Angeles. If youre looking for something popular check out Caravan Book Store its very likely that you can find it used there without paying shipping or waiting for the mailman. My favorite genres there are nonfiction, history and classical Greek. Never buy new again!!

I stumbled into this store on a lunch break from work, and it was such a great find. I love the over-full antique book offerings as well as the slew of super discounted books. If youre looking for a cozy book finding experience in a bustling downtown, where you dont know exactly what you want until you find it, pop into Caravan. Im glad I did.

Stopped in here to look at a couple books while I was near the area and wandering. Beautiful hidden bookstore with a cool indie flair to it. Cool downstairs selection and great variety of topics. Truest a diamond in the rough kinda place youve got to see if youre in the area or just visiting.

A very uncomfortable experience, I felt that I was not welcome and every time i would ask a question regarding a book to the guy behind the counter, it was a no logic answre. Who ever the owner is please get someone friendlier, more knowledgeable of its environment.

Called to get a question on if they carry a specific book and got the most rude man on the phone. Terrible customer service, I have never been treated so rudely over a simple informational question. I will be taking my business else were.

I left an awesome downtown L.A. bookstore that was nearby, and decided to search for another. The guy behind the counter must not have wanted me there. I would recommend it to my friends that like uncomfortable shopping experiences.

I was not looking for this bookstore, I was a guest at the Hilton across the street. This is the kind of place that can not survive in Manhattan because the rents are impossible here...it is a rare find, and worth a browse.

Great place to get used books since I only buy used *save those Richard Dawkins books*.I got the whole Dune collection there for five dollars. Also it goes to a good cause.
