They Are unprofessional, I called in on the 26th for an A/C Diagnostic, they said they couldnt do it the same day. The guy I talked to told me to come in on Friday of the same week, so I went in and they were busy again, so I talked to the guy behind the counter and he told me just to come in on the following Tuesday and Id be fine. So I asked "do I need to make an appointment?" and he told me "No need to make an appointment". So I came in that Tuesday and I told the same guy I was here for my AC Diagnostic, and he seemed really skeptical, and wasnt straight forward so I asked if the only AC guy they have was busy and he told me that the AC guy wouldnt have been able to get to it that same day. So I was forced to cancel my ride and make an appointment this time. Now Ive dropped it off and have to leave it overnight even though I made an appointment and was never told itd be an overnight thing nonetheless. More to this story but this is the jist of it

Pep Boys in Lodi CA has poor customer service. Went in to shop for some floor mats and found 3 out of the 4 I needed. The parts counter said they will order the 4th mat and it would be in the next day and expect a call from the store, had to pre-pay. The next day, no call. I phone the store to find out the mat never came in. Had to re-order again. Promised it would arrive the next day, expect a phone call. Again, the next day, no call. For the 3rd time I had to call to find out about the missing mat. Nobody at the counter had any clue what I was talking about and the guy that took my order was off so the mat had to be re-ordered again. Oh come on Pep Boys...you guys suck!! Going back for refund.

I came here at 10am to have my car serviced for an oil change. They did not finish my car until after 1 and had me waiting in the lobby the entire time. They have a huge sign in the waiting area that guarantees fast service but a 3 plus hour wait for a simple oil change is not what I consider fast. This is the longest time Ive had to wait for an oil change and Ive been to other companies who were far busier and much faster. I am completely dissatisfied with this experience and will never come to this location again.

3/27/13 It took awhile but there was alot to be done. Everything was done perfectly by Visa and Kathrine made sure I had everything I need and explained every step of the process. She even made adjustments to get the most for my money. Horrible experience. I had a 1pm appointment for new tires ended up walking out at 4pm. Horrible business with awful management. I will not be stepping into pep boys again. When I spoke with the manager and informed him of my 1pm appointment he stated " well I wasnt counting on having two service guys today, maybe you can try again Monday." At that point I asked for a refund.

Wow why make a appointment when they tell you that the appointment made online is no good. Then have to wait 5 hours just to get your battery changed unbelievable. Never again make this mistake. Lodi Pep Boys "Sucks"!!!!!!!!! And to top it off they leave my car unlocked the hole time and I had to go lock it myself. What a great store

I spent close to $1000 for brakes and rotors and still had the grinding noise its back in the shop . Before my husband passed away he did our brakes and never had problems. Now Im getting brakes every 2 months ?? And they do not accommodate You at all they still owe me an alignment

worst customer service ever! I just called to get tires and the lady tells me there is only 1 tire available in all of USA. My mind is blown how they can not train their employees. Pep boys has 10 different tires ready and walmart only has 1 tire and cant even get me 4. What a joke

The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Rich is always a great, I highly recommend going here for your parts needs. Its nice since they have mechanics on site, I feel they are all way more knowledgeable than Autozone.

The shelves are in disarray. The help didnt have a simple oil filter for a chevy silverado. The manager is worthless. I was even called a name. Professional mechanic wont be back.
