Ok. So im 8 months pregnant and was totally craving donuts. Went to this place as it is open 24 hours. We arrived at 30 minutes after midnight and they said fresh donuts would be done in 15 minutes. We decides to wait for the fresh donuts in the car. We parked on First St and could see the donuts being prepared. There was this guy hanging out in there who appeared to know one of the employees. This guy was standing over exact spot where the donuts were being prepared. He was disheveled, had his hands in his pants, then put them over the donuts, was talking with his face completely over the donuts, had in a sleeveless t-shirt and his armpits were over the donuts too. He was chewing gym with his mouth open and his head hanging over the plexiglass, and lastly he picked his underwear from his butt. There was no way I was going to get anything from here. The donuts and the prep area was contaminated with this guys saliva, pubic area, butt crack and what ever germs he had flying out if his mouth. That sight was enough turn anyones stomach. Good luck ti anyone who buys those donuts.

5 stars for flavors and donuts 5 stars for location and hours 3 stars for service 1 star for atmosphere The donuts are absolutely amazing. You can get 13 donut holes for 1.27. You can get 13 donuts for less than 10 dollars. Theres constantly different flavors and varieties. Best donuts Ive tasted. It definitely has an old time feel. The location is amazing. On mainstreet in the heart of livermore. Absolutely lovely to walk down the street and visit the shops. Its a 24 hour donut shop which is amazing! The service is eh, the owners are elderly and know moderate English. Never rude, but always sort of blah, like they dont want to be there. The atmosphere is awful. The place looks like it was made in the 50s and hasnt been maintained or updated since then. This place definitely needs an update. Otherwise just grab your donuts and go!

I have to say, when I first moved to Livermore, I used to stop by Donut Wheel daily, at different times of day. Before work, Id stop by there for a quick cup of coffee. It used to be a great place to go for years. However, the ownership has changed, and now the people that run the store are very unfriendly. The shop is dirty, and the donuts arent that great anymore. Im sorry to do this, but I want to plug the donut shop in the Nob Hill Shopping Center on Stanley Blvd., called Best Donuts. Their donuts are made fresh daily. If you want the best and freshest donuts, they open at 5:30am every day, and while they dont stay open 24 hrs. a day, stick with Donut Wheel, but Im putting in a plug for Best Donuts.

The donuts are okay. I went at 11 pm to get donuts and the staff was zombie-like. No greeting, didnt say a word. I just ordered, they threw it in a bag, took my money, and then I left. This would be fine if the donuts were amazing, but they were just so-so and not fresh at all. The other 2 times I have gone, the service has been standard, though never friendly, and again the donuts werent great. This is a good store for late-night munchies (24 hours) but not much else.

One of the worst service experiences available in Livermore. Very dirty. When Ive asked for the fresh donuts instead of telling me theres no fresh donuts they give me a stale donut telling me its fresh. The main lady doesnt let me use the restroom anymore--which is illegal and I hope someone reports them for that. its a 24 hour food service location without a restroom....thats a big F-you to anyone that doesnt have a car.

Its a super chill spot for locals, especially on weekend nights. Its cash only and luckily enough theyre not super expensive so if you have at least $5-$10 on you, youre good. The customer service is a little iffy but then again Ive never seen anyone else besides the older woman at the counter and the man baking the donuts so I can only assume this is due to lack of actual staff.

Good donuts. Definitely better than that crap you get at Safeway. However, they dont take credit cards. Since I dont carry cash on my (well, not more than maybe $5 for tolls) I had to use their in store ATM and get charged a $2 service fee. Service wasnt the friendliest in town either. Make sure you get cash first!

havent eaten a donut here in years, and stopped going in there pretty much altogether, one because theres a donut shop right across the street from my home, two because the staff at BEST DONUTS are friendlier, and three, because they ALWAYS have fresh coffee, with FLAVORED (french vanilla, hazelnut, etc) cream.

The main thing going for Donut Wheel is that its open 24hrs. The donuts are good (not outstanding, but you dont have many choices if you want a donut at 2am...) The interior hasnt aged well, so if youre finicky you may want to avoid. But if youre finicky at 2am... your other options only have bad donuts.

Classic donut shop open twenty-four hours a day. Not sure you could ask for much more than that but they have gone the extra mile couple times with special requests 4 exclusion of certain ingredients for some folks who were allergic and that is priceless.

Some workers especially at night need to be a bit more efficient. It took me really long to just get some simple donut holes and a donut, and not something of huge importance, but my change was short by five cents (they only accept cash)

Cheap and delicious donuts, especially their donut holes. Staff can be extremely slow at night, but these donuts are worth a whole lot more money than they charge for them so I wont complain too much.
