I usually prefer to go to ACE as opposed to Lowes because the employees are more knowledgeable. That is still true for this location, however, there was a lack of hardware and selection at this store. It was a glorified home and garden center. If youre doing anything serious then you will need to go to Meeks or Lowes up the street, unfortunately. If your the average homeowner looking to complete a weekend project, then this store will work just fine, and you will have access to intelligent staff.

This is actually "Ace" hardware now, Ive gone here most of my life but i wont be going there anymore. Last time i went they falsely accused someone i was with of stealing and its not the first time ive seen or heard this happen at this location(it was the manager with a bald head but i didnt catch his name). This is disgraceful and disrespectful, this man should not be a manager if i could give zero stars i would, and i will no longer be referring anyone to this spot.

I have been shopping at this store for over 20 years (even before it was a True Value). They have excellent customer service and the most helpful, friendly staff anywhere in town, or beyond! They have cheerfully helped me solve many home improvement and gardening issues over the years. I always check there first before going to the big box store in town, even if the prices are a bit higher for some things. The service and product quality make it totally worth it!
