I was shocked by this place. I went in to get a water one day and found that this place carries tons of organic products - at a discount. As a new mom (only working part time) my hubby and I try to be economical with groceries. Those trips can add up! The downsides here: this place can get crowded. And they dont offer a full range of items. For example, I was gonna bake a pie for Fathers Day. If they carry cornstarch I didnt see it. Ultimately, we do our bulk shopping here and then supplement with another local store.

Great organics selection. They carry on a regular base organic Humboldt butter (what a difference from Trader Joes butter) organic milk and cream, organic yogurts, organic produce, good chocolates, the wines are good. All are at a very good price. Greatful for the management for keeping such good selection of good high quality items! I dont have to go down the valley to Trader Joes or join the madhouse Costco.

This store is the BEST grocery outlet I have had the pleasure of shopping in. My FAVORITE cashier Peggy and Ycedra have worked there since we moved to the area in 1990 and always make us smile so were glad to spend our money here. Though the owners have changed hands several times I can always count on being made feel like I am at a small mom and pops retail store with Big savings.

My wife and I love shopping here!! Some of the bigger food chains have allowed their prices to get completely out of control, but Grocery Outlet always has low prices on all of the items that I might go somewhere like Raleys for. The staff are really friendly and helpful and we wont shop anywhere else as long as there is a Grocery Outlet in Grass Valley!!

Newly remodeled and expanded, this outlet is a great place to find high quality natural and organic food at bargain basement prices. I only wish there were more employees around to answer questions. Since the inventory is always changing, I can spend a lot of time wandering around and not finding what I am looking for...

Grocery Outlet is the place for creative people to shop. Each item is like the Tucker automobile, food items that would have been destined for greatness but there was something missing in the puzzle, and for whatever reason, they ended up here, at bargain prices.

Their doors open after they close and no one says a thing for 10 minutes then they chase me down, tell me they dont have what I want in a RUDE voice and they RUDELY tell me I need to leave. WORST STORE AND SERVICE EVER, BEWARE!!!
