This location needs to replace the current manager or send him back to his parents to have him raised properly. Incident took place on 05/23/2017 I Called the location at 9:15pm and asked about a specific item if in stock, the representative confirmed its availability and I informed her that Im on my way to purchase a couple of boxes. Me and my wife arrive at 9:20pm only to have the manager aggressively slam the door before my wife walks in and says were closed. My wife explained how we called 5mins ago and a representative told us to come in, and all online information states the location closes at 10pm. He answered by saying " I am the manager i dont have to honor the online information or change it and I dont have to keep promises that my employees give to customers, today we close at 9pm and we dont have to tell you. He again slammed the door while my wife is trying to ask if theres another location open, He smirked and started staring my wife down. I have never seen such poor manners coming from a manager, I know its a 99cent store so I shouldnt expect much. The least to expect is a well mannered, properly trained manager.

Im a full time student so I need to save money. This place has a lot of great deals. It has good selection, things are organized and the place looks clean every time I go. My only complaint is the costumer service of one of the cashiers, Ive gone several times already and this lady does not say hi or makes any eye contact. Its not a middle eastern thing because I have friends from there who dont act like that. It feels a little strange but whatever, that wont stop me from going to this store. Besides that, the place is great, the deals on produce are excellent. Bananas have good quality and are more affordable than at any other store out there.

Look for pasta imported from Italy, occasional organic produce (eat it within a day or two), sea salt, jasmine and brown rice, tortillas are wonderful, waxpaper and paper plates are a life saver. ripe bananas for banana bread and also frozen chicken pot pies to keep at home in the freezer for that panic attack of whats for dinner if you have kids. Be sure to read read read the labels and dont purchase anything from China, especially the canned fruits and jams. Always read the labels. Plenty of parking, best to go before noon if you can.

Produce is actually quite good, though large avocados at 99¢ not really a bargain. That are huge, but arent handled properly so plenty of bruised areas once ripened. Store is small so its a tad more cluttered than some others in the chain, but similar to many. Not neatest one Ive been to but decent spice selection. I mainly went for coconut water, 16.5 oz cans of pure with no added ingredients. Great selection. Also has some with pulp, others with added sugar, so always look at label.

Shopping experience was OK, but getting back to the car with purchases is another story. Unless you find a close parking space the cart locks up and you are stuck with heavy items, a lot of items or a combination a long distance from your vehicle. Why cant they change the locking parameter to include the entire parking lot not just their small section.

It is january 2016 and i got an m&m candy for my baby and found out it is expired since feb. 2015 and when i told the manager there she was not even surprised or anything . She was like did you want another one?

This 99 cents store is very run down, they never have new products and there parking lot is very dirty. I would only come in and out of this location if you have to find something quickly. :(
