This store is very disorganized, understaffed, poorly managed and full of rude people. If you want to understand why I feel this way my horror story lies below: I went in to purchase a futon Id seen online in stock. After entering the store I found that the item was not on the floor, though there was a spot for it. I found an associate who informed me that they were out of stock of the item and INSISTED that they had sold out several days prior despite the online stock showing four just an hour before. After finding ANOTHER associate who looked the item up it turned out they had several in the back and a manager offered 20% off if I came back the next day. 45 minutes wasted, but oh well, Id get it the next day. The next day I entered the store and explained my situation to an associate who shrugged me off and told me to "find someone with a radio" because she supposedly couldnt help me. I roamed the store trying to find an associate for several minutes before giving up and heading back to the pick-up desk. The desk was unmanned, same as the day before, and even after ringing for help several times nobody showed. I eventually headed over to the fitting rooms figuring there should certainly be someone there. Finally I found an associate who called for the manager, who said she would meet me at the pick-up desk. I waited for twenty minutes before the manager showed up and called for someone to bring out my item. I waited another twenty minutes before finally my item was brought out, but the man who brought out the couch on a pallet was unable to ring me up, so he disappeared to "find someone who can help." Another twenty minutes passed before an associate showed up and began ringing up another man who was waiting for help. He began screaming and yelling about how he was going to call the police because they wouldnt give him his item and were trying to scam him, despite the associate and two separate managers explaining that he had no order in the system. Finally the woman offered to help me and said she would finish up with the other man afterwards, but he began to yell at her and me about how she couldnt help me until he got his item (a flashlight that apparently was out on the shelves if he wanted to go get it). Eventually a manager managed to console him and I was helped, but hours were wasted in the store. Moral of the story: go to literally any store other than this Walmart.

I just was at your store. I have a Service Dog that has made living my life possible. I severe Complex PTSD, and before I got him I was not able to function in day to day life. Stores in particular are extremely anxiety provoking for me. When I go into stores if I am purchasing enough items to need a cart I place him in the cart on a towel, otherwise I carry him. I need him up close so he can assist me with Grounding if I start to have a dissociative episode in the store, among other things he does for me. I was approached by one of your managers who informed me that dogs are not allowed in the carts as people have been complaining because they put their groceries in there. Excuse me, but their groceries came in on a truck, and have been exposed to who knows what on the way to your store, and then have been sitting on a self with heaven only know what else getting on them. People put plants covered in dirt and pesticides from the garden center in thoes carts. Random people, with unknown illnesses regularly use thoes carts. They are left out in a parking lot all the time exposed to the elements. They put their children in thoes carts, with their dirt covered shoes and runny noses. But my clean (I groom him regularly as he comes everywhere with me) Service Dog, whom I have on a towel, that I bring in with me, as I dont want him directly in contact with the cart, isnt allowed to be in there because people dont think it sanitary? He is a Poodle, so he doesnt even shed in your precious cart. By far he is probably the most sanitary thing that has ever been in one of your carts. I need him where he can do his job effectively in a store. He is not just some pet that I decided I wanted to bring with me. He is my Service Animal, he has been with me in the hospital, laying in the hospital bed with me, he has saved my life, allowed me to have a life. Maybe your other customers should realize that your carts are far from sanitary, and they should probably wash their produce before they eat it, regardless of seeing my Service Animal in a random cart.

Worst customer service ever from Walmart! I called yesterday to get stock check on an item in auto Dept. The employee confirmed they are available on the floor. We arrived after Auto Dept hours finding the item not on the shelf. Nobody in the store was able to help. Today I have spent an hour and half trying to get the item on hold or purchase online for in store pick up. Around 530pm Im told auto employee left early. Disregard the fact that auto Dept hours close at 6pm today. I have been on hold about 15 minutes with manager named Monica who is clueless on how to do my stock check. I asked her, "What if I purchase this online to pick up. Who is in charge of getting my order? I would like to confirm its available as online shows." Its a simple stock check for crying out loud! Monica put me on hold, which she didnt even know how to put me on hold. And still waiting...Now 20 minutes later I am erroneously transfered to Electronic Dept. Becky answered the call not knowing I was transferred to her. Becky is not a manager but willing to help me. I dont understand how employees like Monica could be in Management and not employees like Becky. I been in retail over 20 years and I do mystery shopping. This is the worst retail manager Ive come across in a very long time. Walmart Gilroy needs to re-think managers in position who cannot manage a simple customer request. Still waiting after 30 minutes on hold.
