You should know before going here that they do not have a full menu and the menu prices do not reflect the prices at the store all the time. For example, when I asked for the chicken and pointed to the 6 piece on the menu, they have me the 12 piece refrigerated chicken wings and charged me for 12 pieces even though I pointed to the 6 piece after i had already eaten it. They dont have the 6 piece, their menu should reflect the current store. That being said, the best thing about this place is the desserts. They are not overly sweet and just right to my taste buds. My favorite is the tofu pudding with mangos. They always have fresh mangos is a perfect combination with the tofu pudding.

Comparing to the other Phoenix locations Ive been to, this place is really small and more of just a takeout. There are only a handful of 2-person tables inside and a couple more outside. They only sell desserts, no restaurant food. But its the only place I can find in South Bay that sells traditional Chinese desserts, so Im glad its here. My favorites are the egg puffer and the various sweet soups like black sesame, almond, black rice, etc.

Absolutely LOVE the desserts from Phoenix - we go there every time we are in LA, sometimes daily or twice a day. We also buy a lot to bring back to San Francisco for friends and family who love them. Please open a store in San Francisco!!
