This is a bizarre place. I have dealt with them since they were in their old, non-frills store right next store to Ralphs grocery store on Mira Mesa Blvd. If they believe you have "banked" money they will spend enough time to learn your likes, hobbies, etc. and without your knowledge.... have jewelry MADE that is over the top, then present it to you in hopes your covetousness will win over and you buy. BEWARE! Recently we went in to settle some things. We made an appointment first, with (owner)Mali...no surprise visit as I "wanted" everything settled once and for all. I was told (2011) it would be 3 months to get a repair estimate from Rolex for my watch, and the same for my husbands Catena watch. I was never given a call, ever. I called several times, finally telling Natasha it was very evident the right hand didnt know what the left was doing around there. I also had a ring repaired. I was never given what the cost would be finally Natasha said it would be $250. but she wasnt sure what the owner would ask for. What? I sent a long email to the owner Mali of my total dismay and how it was impossible to get a straight answer from any of them. My husband finally bought himself a new watch. So, the other day when we went in for the above appt, I took all the paper work, receipts, etc. in a Diamond Botique envelope, Mali snatched every piece of my records (10-15 records) and refused to return them to me! We said we did NOT want the watches repaired. We settled our bill, paid in full. She also lost my beloved yel/wht gold earrings. She gave me a $60. credit, I started to cry. I was so upset, so she upped the credit, but that did not replace them to me. I was told she HAD them before we came in. I did have her however resurface a ring (in house repair)as it was our 48th wed ann. and paid for it upfront. I asked her again to give us my husbands watch back before we left. She flat outright refused saying we could get it back from her the next day when we picked up the ring. My husband went in to pick up my resurfaced ring, and HIS WATCH. I couldnt believe what she said. She said she had sent it out to Catena (NYC?) for another estimate!!!!! She did NOT have our permission to do that! Then she also told my husband, she had miscalculated, and now wanted another $300. from us. Now, since she stole all my records from me........and I have no records to refer to now nor receipts......I am forced to "JUST TAKE HER WORD" and I refuse. Enough is enough! Do not go here. I guess now she will "think" she has a right to keep my husbands $2,000. watch! I feel robbed! Wish I had a button to push...to keep her away. I am so upset I feel like I need to have the police escort me back there to demand her to give me my earrings (and return in cash the small credit she gave me for loosing them) and my husbands watch. I will post.....if my earrings and my husbands watch is ever returned to me, otherwise they will remain stolen items to us!

By the other reviews, it looks like their reputation has followed them to this location. They damaged a very expensive ring while polishing it. They said they would fix it for approx $650. I told them I was not going to pay it and in trying to accommodate the situation I brought in another piece of their jewelry I bought to compensate the expense. That 2nd piece was $1100 so I was essentially giving then double the value for "fixing" their damage. Long story short, I NEVER got my ring back, nor did I get the 2nd piece of jewelry I brought in. I called several times and I was run in circles by the owners son at the time and the older woman owner verbally assaulted me over the phone. I remember one time leaving their store when they were in Mira Mesa and a woman warned me about doing business with them. I passed it off. I now know I too would warn anyone who wanted to go there. Buyer beware.

This jeweler is the best! I saw them at the Bridal Bazaar and took my boyfriend there to look at rings. We had shopped around at Robbins Brothers (which was an awful experience) and a few other jewelers around town. The diamond boutiques prices were very affordable and the service was superb! Ask for Natasha she was so helpful and gave us more tips about ring shopping than any other jeweler we had visited. We got engaged on New Years Eve and I am in love with my new ring (and my sweetie)! If you shop here you will not be disappointed! Thank you again Natasha (and the rest of the staff), we hope this review brings you many more satisfied customers!

Diamonds arent forever at the Diamond Boutique. I had done business with this family owned business for almost 20 years, dating back to their Mira Mesa store. After two generations and thousands of dollars later, they created a custom setting and sold me a diamond that later broke in two pieces. When I called them I was handed off to a new sales person and told there is no warranty once you walk out the door. Ive never been so amazed at the lack of customer relations as I am with this family owned business, after so many years, to be treated this way over such a small sum, what a way to end a relationship. Buyer beware of the wolf in sheeps clothing!

These people are THIEVES. I took my diamond ring in there to get it re-sized and they switched OUT THE DIAMONDt!!!! How do I know?....Because I went in there with a perfect one carrot.....they put a very flawed diamond in its place. I ask around Rancho Santa Fe and Del Mar and found two people that the very same thing happed to with this store......STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE......!!!!!!!!!
