Seafood City Supermarket, where dinner can easily be picked up hot n fresh, is a Filipino version of 99 Ranch. With goods that are discerning to the Filipino taste, weekly specials and hot foods have kept me being a frequent customer. On the right, there is a Red Ribbon Bakeshop, selling their delicious baked goods. On the left, a Chowking & Grill City are kept busy fulfilling the orders of Filipino food lovers. Over in the Seafood section, there are pre-cooked items ready to go, such as pork liempo, crisy pata, grilled squid, dried fish & chicken inasal. Im a big time liempo lover, and when I just want liempo and not a combo at Grill City, Im quick to pick up one here. Fish are sold on ice, and there are also pre-cleaned selections for a higher cost. Quick & simple. Service has been good. Sometimes, the checkout lines tend to back up, but the wait usually isnt too bad. Parking is in a busy private lot, shared by other Filipino businesses like Eriels Café, Valerios & Goldilocks. When in need for Pinoy pood for a good time, hustle on over to Seafood City. There, you can pick up already cooked meat & pre-cleaned fish, along with fresh produce, and youre well on your way to a great dinner. Highly recommend!

I called them to find out how much is a fully cook tilapia. The lady did not answer my question she avoid me saying that I need it to come over to see prices. I asked her to tell me how much is to have a fish individuals deep fry to make it easier she gave me vague answer so I ask to speak with manager the just click on me after 6 minutes been on hold. I didnt get chance to speak with no one about my question. Moving forward would not recommend this fish store . Since they cant disclose price on cook fish.

I went there and was very excited to be there, so I bought a few things and there was a big jack fruit for 76 cents a pound, and first the cashier was not happy because the fruit was big, i was there for like 15 minutes and then I got upset and left, later on in 2 hours my daughter and I went back thinking maybe another cashier can help us, but again they over charge us like 20 dollars more, but my daughter talk to the manager and the manager took 30 minutes and did not say sorry or nothing.

I always enjoy the supermarket section, lots of great produce selction. They even had white shrimp at very good price today. Their Grill City restaurant need major improvement. The food is overpriced and poorly prepared. I ordered the pork adobo and it was swimming in so much grease, I would have had enough to fry stuff for a week if I drained it.

Used to have to drive to this place, before they opened the one in Irvine. If Koreans have H-Mart, and Chinese have 99 Ranch, then Filipinos have Seafood City. While they cater to ALL Asians, you know with their cuts of meat, and snacks reminiscent of home, that this place is about the Filipino culinary cuisine.

Fresh fruit and vegetables. Veriety of fishes. My 3rd time there. I would like to get a reward card but too bad I can not get it with the cashier, she said I have to apply on line and that is not convenient for me. At 99 Ranch or at H mart, you can it it right there at the cashier. So I give only 4 star.

I go here if I want to cook & is craving for some Filipino foods - got all I need in 1 place. 3 stars cause - (1.) price is a bit more than you local neighborhood grocery stores, and (2.) Rewards program is not so rewarding. I got "more" coupons & earns $$$ towards grocery from being a Ralphs Member.

Timing is everything, visited during busy hour, no parking to be had, crowded inside, long lines at the register. Yet, no one seems to mind, everyone is friendly and making small talk. Spend a few hours here to get your fill of the sight, sound and smell of the Philippines!
