Holy cow is this place crowded on weekends. Layout of parking lot is a bit of a pain. As usual they have everything you could possibly need but it is a good idea to check online for the locations of the things you are looking for unless you want to get a good walking workout. Customer service is good on average but sometimes hard to find someone who knows what youre looking for. Update: Took away a star because it has been over a month and we still do not have the last of the blinds we ordered. We checked after two weeks and the supplier had "forgotten" to ship them, but HD said they should be in the following week. Two weeks later, no calls from the installer or HD. When we call it turns out that 8 of 10 blinds have been sitting at HD awaiting delivery of the last 2 blinds. The installer who is an independent contractor decided to go against practice and install the 8 blinds, you know, so we actually have something besides paper covering our windows.Where are the last two blinds? Who knows, HD sure isnt telling. Update2: HD said the last set of blinds are supposed to arrive August 15. We hope they meant 2016, and that the slow boat it is on in the Pacific does not sink. Three months to complete an order?!

I was purchasing several appliances for an apartment complex and needed a set for 1 unit that a tenant was moving into. I spent quite a bit of time picking them out and had to switch brands because most were out of stock. I settled on one brand and was told that we would have a delivery date of 5/13/14 which I great. I called my owners and they paid. Home Depot changed my delivery date to 5/16/14 and didnt say a word. We then set up with maintenance to get everything hooked up.. I received a call from Home Depot yesterday telling me that they were out of stock and that they would be deliver Saturday. I told them that this was not acceptable because I had a tenant moving in and that I needed to speak to someone in the store. No one called and I had to call today and speak to the store manager.. still no time set.. still no appliances.. Home Depot, we spend thousands in your store monthly and this is not acceptable. You should have followed up and kept your word and deliver as promised.

I thought this was the worst home improvement store in the city, until I visited Lowes on Greenback ln. I cant say I changed my mind, this store still sucks, most staff are fairly bad, besides one somewhat older guy in plumbing he is usually helpful and adequate, but most other are stupid and often rude. But comparing to Lowes this store is actually somewhat decent, Lowes are liars and not adequate that is last store I will go to if at all ever. This Home Depot store has much to improve then it would be a good store, get some adequate and helpfull staff, make your shelves organized, make outside more clean, I know most of trash is coming from Walmart side but still. Front of your store is face of your company and so is your staff. For now I am leaving 2 stars even though honestly it is less then that. But Lowes should get like negative 6 score.

Home Depot is already the worst place in the world to go to when you actually need to find something, but these employees make it even worse. When you ask them where something is - because NOTHING is arranged with like items next to each other in this damn store - they go "Oh, it should be over there..." and point in a direction without giving you an isle or a clue as to where youre going. Does Home Depot require them to "stay at their post" or something like that? Ridiculous! Plus (and I know this has to do with the property management at that strip mall, not Home Depot directly...but they are the anchor store there) all of the big trees that used to make this parking lot shady got ripped out & replaced with little saplings. Hooray for the hottest parking lot on Madison & Manzanita!

Ordered a door. Was told I would receive a phone call when ready to pick up. My wife called, and spoke with a very rude person (Lisa) at the customer service desk. She acted like it was our responsibility to know when it arrived. Than she made a statement of "so.... when are you picking it up", with a tone of theyve been waiting on us (it had apparently arrived that morning). When we arrived to pick it up, she pretended like she called us to pick up the door, and with a lot of attitude questioned why we were there now instead of tomorrow morning. This wasnt as if they had to go grab the door, it was 10 feet away from us at the customer service desk. I used to go to this store every other week for repairs and remodeling. I will now drive further away to avoid this bad customer service.

Sales staff will suggest looking for something outside, but seem unable to walk out to the garden area to show you where it is is. Bizarre. Telling me, "I think we may be out of cactus soil," and pointing to an empty shelf inside is extremely unhelpful when, after pressing to find out if there was anywhere else to look for it, I was told (but not shown where), "there may be some in the garden area." We found a huge palette full out there. Good thing we kept asking and took the time to search for ourselves. Same experience with another clerk when looking for gloves. Maybe they think theres a boogie man in their garden center!?

Went in asked where Lyme is, dude told me gardening. Nobody there to help no lyme.Went back into store asked another, told me his hand held is not working. went to computer told me area 98. he didnt know where that was, pointed me towards another part of store. Said to find someone there and ask them saw same guy originaly asked. He said go to cement room no lyme. Thanks for the tour of your store !!!!!!!!!! Went to ace and was outta there in 5 minutes. Home depot is not what it used to be. Never again I would rather pay higher price. If I wanted excersize I would go to gym!!!!!

Overall I really like Home Depot. I am a bit disappointed in the customer service here, I havent seen it this way before. I waited almost 20 mins in store for help to get the price of a product . I received no assistance. I then called in to the store the next day and was told I had to come in for a price. I see no reason why one would need to come in as there is no difference between face to face and over the phone for a price of a specific product. The store was unable to assist me in obtaining a price. I have no choice other than to shop elsewhere.

I live in Nevada and adopted a family in Sacramento for Christmas. I wanted to order them a Christmas tree. I spent the whole day calling every Christmas tree lost noted on the internet with no luck. And then I remembered Home Depot sells Christmas trees. I called them, ordered the tree and they even delivered it. The whole event was flawless thanks to Home Depot..and the family loved the tree. Thank you Home Depot!!!! You helped make one Sacramento family very happy this Christmas <3
