I did not even want to give sears a 1 star rating. My experince today has caused me more than hate and disrespect for this company. My mom and I had two layaways with sears in brea california. So we went to go take them out because we got a call this morning saying if we did not make a payment they would be canceled. Sure enough one of our layaways was canceled three days ago, and we found what we had layed away back on the sales floor. So we asked to speak to a manager, and he said he would be right with us but also shined us on. When he came to the tool section with the only open register on the first floor he was a total jerk. He did not want to help my mom and he threw his chest and stomach towards her. I asked him to not harras or speak to my mother the way he was. He was making my mom very nervous and upset. He was degradding her in front of other coustmers, and when she was talking to other coustmers he got right in her face and told her not to do that. Then i told him to not talk that way to my mother. So he just said he wanted to no longer deal with us and gave us his name which is eith Rudy or Ruben. He also gave us a number to call. But he was a true JERK! He dose not need to be working around people. My mom and i will be contacting corparate Also your store is very DISGUSTING. Your restrooms are so gross and filthy, there is so mucg junk in there. They never clean them. There are hardly any employees to help you. And if you are buying something downstairs you have to purchace it upstairs. None of the employees no how to do anything that has to do with layaways. All the employees are VERY RUDE AND CONDISENDING! THIS STORE NEEDS TO GET IT TOGETHER!

The assistant manager at the appliance parts counter, is the worst person to represent any company. She cut me off, offered no alternatives at first, told me she couldnt help me. I have no idea how a person like this: 1) Has a job anywhere. 2) Was somehow promoted to assistant manager? That goes to show why this is a 2.5 star place. Moving on from their counter service to their absurd business model. I called the Sears in Orange to look for a part and was transferred to a non local operator that checked the part for me and placed the order. They told me that they found the part in Brea and they would call me back in a half hour to charge me. A woman called me back and I was already in the store, she said she was in East Asia. I told her I would just pick the part up and pay the counter. Sears will be out of business soon for having a drawn out system to not give me any service in the first place, then being disrespectful and unhelpful to my face when I drive across town to give them business. In short, I will never do business with Sears again and look forward to this place inevitably going out out of business to make way for an Amazon warehouse.

My experience with this store is much like the other poor reviews. The appliance departments is horrible. Sears has really gone down hill. I have grown up my hole life with my parents shopping at Sears for appliances and so I followed in their foot steps and continued shopping with Sears for my appliances. I have purchased many appliances through Sears and in the past I had always been relatively fine with the service and products until this last time. It is so difficult to work with the delivery department and if you have a question or problem after the delivery which I did, there is no one who will help resolve the problem. I was not able to speak to someone in the store. I called repeatedly and was transferred to a call center in the Philippines where I was unable to get any help at all. This was the last straw for me. I will never purchase from Sears again. There is no Customer Service at this company. There are so many stores out there that give good service why would anyone want to shop at Sears. I learned my lesson.

Having a real issue with the outlet store. Ordered a dishwasher and it was supposed to be delivered yesterday. We waited and heard nothing and when I called they said someone had called us and spoke to me and rescheduled it for Monday! I had no call and no missed call on my phone log. Went to the store and the dishwasher was still there and had not been picked up by the delivery company they use. The manager, Ean, said he had called the delivery company and they said they spoke with me....which was a lie. My husband said we would pick up the dishwasher and our son would install it since he felt this was very dishonest of them to lie about speaking with us. We had the dishwasher installed this morning and all the information packet that it comes with and warranty book was missing from the dishwasher. I called Sears outlet and they could not find our dishwasher information that was there when we purchased it. Love the dishwasher but not happy with how Sears does things....the company has gone downhill for sure.

I went to buy an $8 item, and the cashier asked me for my phone number. I politely refused, but then she pressured me again. When I asked her not to pressure me, she started to argue with me saying that she wasnt pressuring me, but she was just explaining why I needed to provide it. So, a note to the managers at Sears: Do you think I will ever come back to your store after you pressured me and treated me like an object instead of a human being over a lousy $8 item? I will let you take a wild guess.

One toliet two urnials in mens restrooms.. Took about 30 min to get in the toilet....then i found that their was no tolitpaper..trash all over ground... I have pictures to prove it...seem they need more employes could find anyone for help with my compliant...my kid brouht me here to buy me gift for fathersday on Jun 16 2017....one more thing as i walked by tool are a man was loudly saying( is there anyone in tool dept) i thought to my self SAD FOR SUCH A GEAT NAME LIKE SEARS!

For what its worth, Sears at Brea Mall is decent. It has limited selection of items and some good sales. Its an okay store by my account. I think its even cleaner than some of the other Sears stores Ive been to. Service wise probably not the best. It sometimes feels like a ghost town in the week days. Hard to find someone to help you check out or ask question on item.

Sales person was not nice at all. I actually went back looking for her because she was pretty nice the first time I met her. Once the sale was made and rung me up, I felt rushed so she can help another customer. I changed my mind about sales delivery date and she rolled her eyes. I walked out. I spent fuel and time to drive to another Sears buy from someone else.
