Not to great, I have not had very good luck with this store or the company in general. I have went into the store looking for items and no one seems to know anything about the actual products they sale. And this Christmas (2016) was the final time I ever shop at any REI! Order a jacket which was shipped from this location in Tucson. The jacket was a completely different jacket so when I went in to the store to get the right jacket they were of coarse out of stock and the cashier had no clue how to handle the situation she almost seemed to be blaming me for their mistake. The new jacket which was a gift for someone who was about to be traveling and needed a rain coat, was the wrong size so I took it back and this time a guy managed to mess up my order even more that my bank called me asking if I had made all these purchases at REI. So when I called REI to complain and fix the situation they offered me nothing for the huge inconvenience and when I politely asked her to cancel the order so I could order from somewhere else the lady seemed to not really care. So in short I order the right jacket from Cabelas which came in 2 days at no extra charge and it was cheaper than REI. They are over priced and not very helpful if you actually need assitance and they are somewhat pushy in the stores. I would strongly recommend if you need outdoor gear in Tucson and want it fast shop at Sportsmans Warehouse, or go to Cabelas or Bass Pro Shops.

I went there specifically to purchase running shoes, looking for a brand that was listed on the REI website (La Sportiva). Once I was finally acknowledged by the employee (Kathy), she told me they dont carry that brand because "the stock room is too small". I asked about other comparable brands they might carry, but she could barely bother to offhandedly point at the wall of hiking shoes (I had specified RUNNING shoes), and when I attempted to ask about the other trail running shoes they had available for women (6 or 8 models of Soloman, one Brooks and one other I cant recall), her attitude made it very apparent that I must be an imbecile who she didnt have time for. Needless to say I walked out of there without the shoes. What Kathy did not know is that my husband and I were also there to purchase a bicycle, his Christmas gift to me, and it was much more than the shoes they lost in sales today.

REI is in the Tucson mall here in Tucson Arizona and is a very nice place to go if you are a hiker mountain climber or whatever anything athletic wise youll be able to find in the store is two stories high it has handicap access as well and it is a very nice place to go if you are a mountain climber which we have a lot here in Tucson considering we have a lot of mountains and you can get it for relatively cheap considering some of the other stores and prices you can find online not to mention that is local and its right by the food court so if you want to grab a bite to eat before going there its right there highly recommended especially if you are very athletic and like doing stuff in Tucson Arizona involving the mountains or hiking or excetera excetera excetera highly recommended in my opinion

Ive never had anything but good experiences at this REI. In a day and age when it seems like businesses no longer care about the customer its a relief to have some place that appears to still care. I went in yesterday (8/2/15) to buy the new evrgrn starry night tent, as I was walking in I was approached by a very nice employee (wish I could remember his name, he was pretty cute) who took me straight to the display and grabbed it for me. He made sure to ask whether I had a membership card and when I said I didnt but wanted one, he gave me a slip to take to the counter which made things easier at check out. Hopefully REI checks reviews so they can know how awesome their employees are!

Expect everything to be full MSRP more often than not, but they do have occasional member coupons and the dividend thing is like getting a tax refund, its basically your money youre getting back but it feels like a yuge bonus to spend like a madman, until you have basically bought every piece of outdoor gear you can cram into your go do fun stuff weekender closet, or room corner, then all you can do is walk around in the place in your Chacos like a zombie until you feel burned out and leave with just a pair of socks or a freeze dried meal you dont really need... but Im glad its there when I need new footwear or backpacking fuel.

REI is probably one of the best stores youre ever going to visit, period. Even if youre not an outdoor enthusiast, youre going to love this place. Theyve got great discounts, great people, great products and a great company vision. I remember walking into an REI when I was 13 years old; my mind was blown. My mind is continuously blown each time I go into an REI today. This particular store doesnt fall short from any other REI location Ive visited. If I could give it 10 stars, I would.

it was a pleasure to have my bike "overhaul" done by a professional that you can count on to provide the service and expertise that he promised. and, that is exactly what i received from dillion. and, because of dillions attention to detail and dedication my bike is performing remarkable. i highly recommend dillion, and i will return when i need maintenance and other cycling needs.

At last an outpost in Tucson, Ive been a member since 66. Great stuff and good prices, excellent customer service, best of all: it is not a big corporation, just a Co-op with a nice dividend each year. Never had a problem, they really stand behind their goods.

They have an amazing selection of high quality products. THEY HAVE GHOST MTBs, a high-end, pro style, German engineered, mountain bike, with precision geometry, and upper end Shimano components. You cant get those anywhere else, and the prices are great.

Extremely rude customer service to me and my 2 kids trying to buy hiking boots for the whole family. After an hour and only trying on 2 pairs of shoes we left empty handed because of the rude comments and lack of help from a lady with long brown hair.

Excellent customer service. Bryan from the bike department , not only made a tire suggestion, he put in on my bike. For Free! Most shops would have charged me labor. Thx for the help. Keep up the good work.

Beautiful store, great selection but EVERYTHING was in my estimation, dramatically overpriced. I hate complaining about cost, people can charge whatever...but it was depressing.

I love REI and the return policy...even for damaged shoes nearly a year old was "lets exchange them for a new pair" That breeds customer loyalty.

Every time that I walk into here, I finally know that there are some well run stores out there. Rei always has what I need for all of my hiking.
