I began using this pharmacy for a couple of months now because we moved to Goodyear and it was closer to home. Ever since day one, we have been having problems with this pharmacy. The first incident occurred in February, a Rx was sent by my doctor and they did not have it available, they said they would get new shipment in three days to call back. I waited five days called back and still nothing had arrived yet. On day eight, I called Walgreens on Dysart and Van Buren and they were able to have it ready the next day. The second incident occurred when I called to verify the status of a Rx for my son, even my doctor had verified that they sent it over two days ago, I called the pharmacy to check the status and they stated they were still waiting for the doctor to confirm the Rx. I told them the doctor had called me a few days ago and the technician then said, "Oh, okay I see it now." Seriously? They should be able to see the status and any changes on their screen. The third incident which is what angered me the most happened this month. A technician was helping me pick up my Rx, he asked all the regular questions, name, dob, address etc, then he asked another technician to help me. This new technician spoke to me purely in Spanish even though I was answering all his questions in English, talk about being disrespectful and not catching on peoples cues. Yes, I am Hispanic and speak Spanish, but I also speak English fluently. If I speak to you in English I hope you speak to me in English too. I hope the technicians at this Walgreens read these reviews and learn from their mistakes. I will not be going to this pharmacy again, no matter how close it is. Sometimes convenience is not always better.

Rickey/Ricky, the Pharmacy Technician that frequently works the Drive Thru in the afternoons/evenings during the week, is FANTASTIC!! He is friendly, helpful, and quick!! Over time, he has gotten to know me, and remembers my name and that I have kids in the minivan with me. He always asks if theyve been good and can give them a treat, and sends out candy for them. Its a "little thing," but it makes a tedious chore enjoyable for the kids, which makes my life so much easier/better/happier. Rickey/Ricky is a HUGE part of why we keep coming back, time and time and time again. He is a rare gem in the retail pharmacy world, and he is absolutely an asset to the team at this Walgreens!!

Friendly staff but not helpful. They are constantly out of stock, long waits, and do not understand how to put in your insurance or update addresses. Ive had many issues with them covering medications that I refill every couple of months. Something happens to their system or not sure but insurance information gets mixed up. They tell me the medication is not covered and Ive had to speak to the pharmacist and he inputs insurance info the correct way ending up with my insuranc covering my medications. I only go here becasue its closer to my home but will have to switch to another pharmacy.

The pharmacy staff are awesome here. Most importantly, Ricky is the by far the most friendly and helpful of them all. He does go the extra mile to help and care. Its rare that employees of businesses remember your name, but Ricky, he remembers you. He is so very professional and personable. If something ever happens and he moves to another store I might just follow him. I hope Walgreens realizes what a great employee they have!

As of Monday I will TOTALLY change pharmacy, ive been very patient, blaming it on my bad day, their bad day, finally came to a conclusion that its simple their rude personality...OMG the attitud and service of the workers here is absolutely unprofessional. im done with them, its a shame because the wallgreens staff aside from pharmacy is great...the pharmacy is THE WORST!!!!! DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY!

This pharmacy is the worst. They never have enough people working and are often out of stock. I waited 1.5 hours to find out I need to come back in two days for more medicine. Staff was polite but seemed very disorganized. Walgreens is going downhill.

Had surgery. My daughter dropped off my prescription for vicadone. They said i had to wait 24hours. Went across the street too Safeway the pharmacist had never heard of something so stupid. My new pharmacy is Safeway.

Literally the slowest pharmacy every. They always seem understaffed, and the drive through like always takes a minimum of 30-40 minutes. Its ridiculous.
