We almost went with a cake decorator that was recommended by our caterer, but we just couldnt agree on the right cake for my daughters wedding. Then we met with Kevin from Piece of Cake! Oh My Gosh!!!!! He "clicked" with my daughter and her fiance immediately! They were having a little bit of a superhero theme, so they ended up agreeing on this crazy, upside down beautiful cake, held up by Ironman!!! And Ironmans chest actually lit up!!!! It was the talk of the reception and it was delicious, too!!!!! I have another daughter getting married in a month and there is no one else that we would have make the cake for her wedding! Kevin and the rest of the staff at Piece of Cake are so creative and talented!!! They are beyond awesome!!!

Our wedding venue used this bakery. Im not a cake person at all. I was a cake hater. Thanks to all those grocery store sugerfilled/ dried out cakes. Once I had that first bite I fell in LOVE! Our cake design came out beautifully. Definately better then I ever expected. My cake was a huge hit! It was so delicious and moist! I drove all the way from Peoria to pick up a cupcake and order my sister-in-laws baby shower cake. The only place I will ever go for cake. Its definately worth a 45min drive both ways.

I absolutely love this place!! This is my go-to place for cupcakes. They always have a great selection and I have yet to find one I didnt like. The pink champagne cupcake is my absolute favorite (it is seriously divine)! The staff here has always been courteous and friendly, even when I bring my 3 little kids with me and they are being rambunctious. This is a great local bakery that I would (and do) recommend to my friends.

Back in April, my fiancé hired Piece of Cake Deserts to make our wedding cake from 2000 miles away. We live in Virginia, so we didnt have the luxury of meet the client type of meeting. They received ideas from her and came up with a stunning art in cake. We were not let down. I highly recommend them, and if we end up in AZ and need a cake, I will get in contact with them again. I would just like to say that we used Piece of cakes gilbert for our wedding cake provider on 2-18-17 and man were we as well as guests impressed. I actually in my speech thanking our family and friends for coming mentioned the cake "We had been waiting months to enjoy" I cant wait for our one year anniversary so we can enjoy it once again. I would highly recommend.

Piece of Cake not only has super delicious cakes, but also great folks that work there. Plus, they offer gluten free cakes, which was so important for me due to my allergy. I wasnt sure what we would do about a cake and we didnt have to worry about a thing thanks to them! We had our cake and a special grooms cake and both of them were beyond beautiful!

Huge disappointment. I ordered a cake with sugar sunflowers and they gave me these tiny flowers that were very clearly made with a cookie cutter- something anyone could have done, but I paid for a professional. Also, the red dye from the red vlevet on the top layer leaked somehow onto the white buttercream. I would not recommend it.

My husband and I ordered a two layer cake for our wedding...the top was done with white cake and raspberry filling the bottom was a chocolate cake with chocolate ganache filling. All around the base were fancy chocolate and white chocolate decorative covered strawberries it was to die for !!! Thank you!!! Our guests loved it!

They did it again! First did cupcakes 2 years ago for my wedding and everyone loved them. This time, I had them make my cupcakes for my baby shower and everyone loved them...ate them up before I got to my favorite lol! Cupcakes were delicious, moist and the decorations were perfect pairing w/ my shower theme.

This place is absolutely amazing! Super easy to work with as far as cake planning goes. Great sampling meeting and they were able to execute our hybrid idea to a T! Also the Banana Fosters flavor is out of this world! I recommend this place to everyone for any occasion. Enjoy!

Overall it is good. Some of the cakes should taste better. The reason i like this place is because of how accomodating the staff are.
