Weve had to return dairy products on three different occasions - milk, sour cream and cottage cheese that had soured and even molded, though they were well within the expiration period. The lady my wife spoke to the last time said "This may be one that someone returned." Aside from the apparent problem they have with handling or cooling dairy products, it is more than a little concerning that they put something back on the shelf after someone has returned it! In the produce section yesterday I found two cases of absolutely rotten avacados. Not just over-ripe, but leaking. Weve gotten some good products at very good prices, but there is a problem with quality control at this store that is worrisome. Dairy products and produce that have gone bad are annoying, but if the meat products are similarly handled the consequences could be deadly.

The prices on most of our regular grocery items seemed to be comparatively less than Walmart. We found everything we needed and a few things we didnt necessarily. I left with a cool new back pack for only $20 from there outdoors section and I couldnt be more happy with it. A lot of the items looked convenient for college dorm rooms, which is honestly great sales tactics seeing as there are college dorms a short walk from the store itself. They have boxes for your groceries somewhat like Sams and you can pay for paper and plastic bags as well. You have to put a quarter into the shopping cart before you can use it but you get it back once you return it, which I love. And as a bonus there is a bathroom that smelled fresh and was well kept :) Good job Aldi!

Lots of money saving deals.. My family size is six and we can get all of our groceries for the week under $200 which is something we cant accomplish anywhere else. The bathrooms and store are always clean. Even the checkout line is pretty fast. My only complaint is the potatoes seem to go rather quickly from there so use them immediately or be prepared to toss them.

Ridiculously cheap food. Also they have a very large selection of gluten free items too. Definitely a normal stop on grocery day. And even with 3 registers open, they are faster than any Wal-Mart in the entire world!!! But bring your own bags or they charge you for them and you have to bag your own groceries. Not a bit deal considering the saintly cheap prices.

Aldi Person told us that he will bring wings from inside as the shelve was empty. We waited outside but for 10-15mins but he did not come. Then we found him at the register counter. When asked he ask someone to bring one pack at the checkout counter. We waiting again but then he told us sorry we dont have any at the back.

Aldi is my best food market in the USA because of its affordability, customer service and product quality. When you compare its price to those of other big retailer stores, you will see huge differences. For that reason, I am giving 5 stars to ALDI. thank you aldi.

Great prices for good quality food. Just expect the Aldi brand, and dont forget your bags and a quarter for the shopping cart (or buggy as Ive learned is the correct term in the South )...these are just a couple ways they save money and lower prices.

Folks preach to me on how Walmart has the most affordable groceries. Well, folks obviously have not been to Aldi. This place doesnt send you home with an unnecessary surplus of plastic bags either. Shop smart, people--shop Aldi.

Aldi in general is great. This location is often crowded and out of stock on many items. It seems like they are always reshuffling the layout. Even though it is much older and a bit dingy, I like the Bessemer location better.

Aldi is literally the worst grocery store Ive ever seen. So small. Virtually no produce whatsoever. Terrible meat selection. Its almost like its not even a grocery store. Ill never come back.

Some of the best prices on groceries, especially milk, you will find in Tuscaloosa and Northport. The parking is the one drawback as it is shared with a restaurant and overflow from apartments.

Good place for cheap food mainly eggs and milk. They dont have grocery bags so come prepared. Also i dont recommend getting the package sandwich lunch meat, it just doesnt taste right to me.

Ive always praised Walmart for their fresh produce.. But ALDIs has produce that is a fresh as Walmart. Publix, Winn Dixie and Piggly Wiggly should take some lessons from these two stores.

Very good place to purchase fresh food, organic and they are very engage with the enviroment. Please bring your bags or you can use the empty cardboard boxes that you find in the store.

Love the prices and new finds. The only downfall is building it in conjunction with a Texas Roadhouse, and using the same parking lot. Just have to go during restaurant off peak times.
