Honestly, no stars. I went here for a cat tattoo. Just look at the picture....does this look like a cat?? (Why does it have chicken legs?? Where are the eyes?? Why are there three ears??) I had to carry this for weeks until it healed. Luckily, I got a cover up from Cynical Tattoos. Literally do not waste your money. It was mortifying. I still cry tbh. I dont remember his name...but it was not Ricky. So, dont waste your time or money. Also- the entire time we were there, the guy literally complained about hating his job...I shouldve just left at that point...BUT it is what it is. Save yourself.

Ricky did two of my husbands tattoos when he was in Cottondale and then did tattoos for both my Mom and I while at his current location. He is an awesome guy and does incredible work. I am very particular about where I spend my money, let alone what I put on my body..permanently! Some of the work I have seen around town...I just dont understand why people show it off. Ricky charges less and does better work...period.

Pics of daughters on your wall instead of various other "tatt" shop wall "art"... Loved that Your a great guy.

They made me sit there for an hour, then made me leave because the artist was tired. Then after I left, I closed the door behind me. The artist proceeded to try and fight me. The area was dirty with small children running around while the staff continued to use their electronic cigarettes. Would not reccomend without planning.

I got my first tattoo from Adam at Symbolic Ink and I couldnt have asked for a better experience! Adam was great through the whole process and made it very relaxing - Symbolic has a great atmosphere and is very laid-back. I would highly recommend Symbolic Ink (especially Adam!!) for anyone looking for a tattoo in Tuscaloosa!

Ricky was amazing. I got my nostril pierced yesterday. I asked him to count, he said "count what?" and before I knew it my nose was pierced! He went ahead and did it which calmed my nerves greatly. I wouldve given a tip but I had to pay in advance. Go to Symbolic ink!! ✔️✔️✔️
