Alright, this will be my last review during my time in the south. Evidently, equality is a one way street down here. This atore is next to my rented apartment during my temporary stay, and because of its convenience, Im in here several time a day. Tonight I waited while 5 African American purchased beer and werent carded. The cashier asked for the birthdate to enter into the computer and they would recite the numbers. While they each looked 12, Ill assume they were regulars also. Thats fine. But when i get there with my groceries and a single beer for dinner, he needs to see MY physical card. EvAmericanse go back out to my truck to get my wallet... To the snickers of the other African-Americans in line. I took, maybe a minute, and when i came back my things were gone. I had to shop all over again. The cashier grinned. As a jew, my ancestors were slaves for 2000 years to their 400, and the firat half was in AFRICA. If we can get over If, and be civilized, they should be able to. For those that follow my reviews back home, Ill repeat... Never Ever go below the Mason-Dixon Line. Especially Alabama. We should have let the break away from the Union, because its a shame that so many of our ancestors died in the Civil War to allow them to behave as they do. 2 months left!!! Wooo!----------> came back today. Its been 2 months. It was a convenience stop. The line was clear back to he ice coolers because only one register was open. There only ever IS one register, though they have 4. Shoddy place. Ole Jason over in management needs to know about it

Unlike some Dollar Generals, this one is very neat and in order. No huge dollys in the isles. The staff is also very helpful.

Nice store. Convenient location. Nice cashier.
