If I could give a 0 star I would. I purchased a fridgidaire refrigerator less then a year ago. Was having some temperature issues with the freezer not staying cold enough. After speaking with the technician he diagnosed the problem over the phone without bothering to see the unit, asking me if I heard the motor kick on or the fan run. So he ordered the part and came out the next week to replace. To my surprise it wasnt the right part. So while my freezer was still not working we waited on another part. When the part finally came in a service technician came out to replace. All done right? Oh I wish that was the case. The next morning I woke up to a pool of water from the refgierator leaking. Another call to AAA Appliance when the rude secretary places me on hold for the technician. He stated well the water line must have come loose so just take a pair of pliers and tighten it back up. So I got to play handyman on an appliance that should have been fixed the day before. After waiting a couple days for the freezer to come up to temp which it never did. So yet another call to AAA Appliance, another encounter with the rude secretary. I had to wait for the technician to call back and questioned again for me to somehow give them the answers why my freezer is still not working properly. On the next appointment the technician says the fan was blocked be a small piece of cellophane. All good right. Oh that would be so simple nope again woke up to water on the floor again now knowing that its my job to repair what the technician loosens I just tighten the hose back down. Fast forward a week. And the temperature is warm everything in the freezer is defrosted. Which is worse then the original problem I had. At this point I feel like Im in the movie Groundhog Day, call into AAA Appliance another encounter with the rude secretary and wait for the technician to call back. Another appointment set. Now the problems is freon is low so he filled it up. But remember the unit is less then a year low on freon hmmm. The technician said he would call the next morning to see if he would need to plug a hole he would have to discuss it with the manager. No call the next morning but it did seem to be getting colder so I didnt call back. Well that lasted for about 48 hours. You guessed it another call to AAA Appliance the rude secretary said I would have to wait for the manager to call because she didnt see why I was still having a problem and was told he wouldnt be in the office for 3 days. I asked what I was to do in the meantime that I still do not have a working unit. At that she said she wouldnt deal with me any more and was canceled any service calls to be done.

The ice maker on my Frigidaire refrigerator (purchased new Sept. 2014) went bad in just over 3 months. After discussing warranty service via Frigidaire, AAA Appliance was listed on the Frigidaire site as the most local repair place to perform the replacement. After speaking with the technician that covers my area, we agreed what the root cause was and he immediately ordered a replacement ice maker. As promised, he called in the following morning to inform me that the replacement ice maker arrived and to schedule a service visit. The technician arrived per the schedule, replaced the ice maker assembly, took the old one and left. The whole process from contacting them, to scheduling and install, and paperwork (which was minimal) was quick and painless. There are 2 reasons its not 5-star. 1) I wish I couldve just been sent the part and replaced it myself rather than having a technician scheduled, take time off work, etc. It was literally 2 screws and an electrical connector that I was more than willing to tackle myself, but had I touched the fridge the folks at Frigidaire wouldve "voided the warranty". So, while Frigidaires process is outside of AAA Appliance Services control, it begets the other issue why its not 5-star. 2) The technician tracked mud all through my living room. Even the most evil corporations in the world (ie. cable companies) send their contract technicians out with booties or some foot covering to prevent this issue. It was a dry day, so it was pretty surprising all the mud that actually made it to the carpet. Maybe the prior service call required a hike through a mud bog? I dont know, but it took longer to clean the carpet after the technician left than it did to replace the ice maker. Therefore, my suggestion for AAA Appliance Service would be to have a little more consideration for the more, fastidious, customers and get the technicians some booties or make it policy to remove their shoes during a service visit. Aside from that issue, the communication was prompt and service itself was very good.

The technician did not complete the job full . I had a floor contractor working at the time the AAA tech arrived. He just walked in (my garage was open) did not speak to anyone and left. When i called the company they say its their policy. As i was explaining to the lady at AAA about him not finishing the job and not talking or asking for me she cut me off. When i tried to call several times i was put on hold. Their attidute to customers is poor. I will also complain to GE not to use them as a subcontractor.

Needed refrigerator looked at to see why water and ice under the produce trays. SAME DAY SERVICE! Chuck is very polite, thorough and clean. Showed and explained the problem, and how he would fix it so it would never happen again. In and out in less than an hr, and extremely reasonable charge. I recommend this honest man to everyone.
