New Manager will be the downfall of this community treasure. I have shopped here for years. The staff have very little turnover and I have come to know their familiar faces. Today I was in the store with my husband and one year old son. A man whom I assume to be the new manager (based on the way he was rudely barking orders to the cashiers) insulted me and my family loudly at the checkout. My baby had opened a plastic bag of 99cent toys. I brought it to the counter to pay for it, along with our many other purchases. The cashier apologized and explained that the policy stated they could not sell opened packages. She pointed to the policy- which was posted and I had no intentions of contesting. The manager rudely interrupted, loudly, saying people like to "tamper with the merchandise" and "I never forget a face". I had to ask my husband to take the baby to the car before he got himself locked up for assault. I paid for the rest of my purchases but felt the shame he was trying to inflict upon us. I should have left, but I also felt apologetic to the cashier, who seemed so sorry for his rude actions. Keep your $0.99 toys. And Ill keep the $1000s I spend in your store every year. You, SIR, do not belong in this community where we build each other UP. You, SIR, clearly think you are MAKING AMERICA GREAT AGAIN. We were already great. My husband and I are both college-educated public servants whom you tried to belittle based on your perception. You belittled yourself. I am sorry to the much-loved staff who I will miss. I predict many long-time staff will also be leaving based on the way he was treating them as well.

I absolutely love this place. Im not exactly sure what the other reviews are talking about. The prices are absolutely fabulous. Yes, they have a boutique section where some things are priced higher for brand name items that are really in good shape or other items that they think they can charge more for. But, for the most part, you can find items there for just a couple bucks. I have bought a whole bag full of baby and toddler clothes that most of them were only $.99, some as low as $.75. And the most I paid for any of those clothes was $2.98 for an adidas toddler jacket that didnt even look like it had been worn. I also bought a Vera Bradley pocketbook awhile back in the boutique section that had never been used for $15. See, in the boutique section, if it doesnt sell, just like in the other parts of the store, they mark those items down. Items are marked down every Thursday. So, if you are interested in stuff but its too expensive, keep going back to check on the item to see if theyve marked it down to your liking. I hope this review helps. I really like the store. Yes, some things are expensive but they dont sell them Im sure until it gets marked down to a decent price. I bought a pair of Nike shoes for my toddler there that had hardly even been worn for $2.98. Talk about a deal!

I shop here a lot. While the prices on some items are steep (Im not spending more than seven dollars on clothing from a thrift store unless its brand new and I absolutely have to have it), but a lot of it is high quality. Im expecting a little girl and come here at least once a month to stockpile larger sized clothes. Its great that I can get good quality and in style clothing for my kids for three dollars and under. I dislike that there are no fitting rooms, but upon asking employees why there arent any I was told that shoplifters would use them to put clothing on under their clothes to steal them. While I dont like it I do understand why the no longer have them. If I want to try something on I do it over my clothes next to all the other women doing the same thing. No one is going to give you a weird look. Overall, I have been very satisfied with this store.

This store is high on there prices but what you are buying is not like other thrift stores. Everthing in this store is in as good of condition as if it come straight from the dealers. Most of the things have new tags on them. The boutique is high because it has collectible things and items that are worth money ( not quarters and dimes ) things. This store is shopped by people who make a living reselling items and looking for items worth alot of money. If you are going to get a $500.00 t.v. for $3.50 i do not suggest you go here.Go across the street where you can buy a pair of shorts with chit stains in them for $5.00. Keep in mind you get what you pay for.Alot of things has happened in the past 5 years. Nobody is gonna get anything for free anymore.Everyuthing has a price and you are gonna pay that price or take a chance stealing it. Hope this review helps.

Not handicapped accessible!! I bought a big item and asked the cashier if they would load for me . the reason I asked was because I am handicapped an saw they dont pick up. I was told yes and to pull around back. The man (claimed to be a manager) carried the item out of the store , rudly asked me to back up and nearly carried the item off the property and refused to load. I went in requested my mint back. I had not even touched the item. I explained u was handicapped and was told by 2 managers no exception all sales final and they would not touch the item any more. I did manage to hurt myself getting the item in my car. Now its broke and Im hurt. There needs to be a sign that is clear that they are not handicapped accessible in anyway.

I have been here before several years ago and was impressed then. I returned yesterday to find a larger selection, a wider price range and greater organization. I love this store. I do a lot of thrift shopping and right in this area you have the Goodwill outlet, where you have to really hunt for bargains, and Value Village, one of the highest priced second hand stores ever. I was able to find four brand name shorts and three top name shirts for my man and pay less than $15.00. And I didnt waste a lot of time looking. I also got an Iron, an electric can opener and a great pair of nearly new cross trainers, and still didnt pay $25 total.

Do not do not do not buy from here. I bought a pair of earrings that was suppose to be 14k Gold and they where not. I had them ckecked when I left the store. They are not Gold. I paid $80.00 for a pair of metal earrings and they absolutley will not refund my money!! They have no integrity at all. I do not know how they are still in business. I will never shop there again and I will tell everyone I know not to buy from them. They presented them as gold but now will not refund me my money and no one told me at the time that they dont refund money either. Sorry excuse for a business.
