As a chain, Eagle Rider has a bit of a monopoly on motorcycle rentals in many large cities (wherever the Harley Dealer doesnt rent). So if you like to rent motorcycles, you are kind of stuck with them and their hidden costs, service fees, etc. Ive rented from Eagle Rider in Las Vegas and San Francisco and been stuck with beat up, loose riding, abused high-mileage bikes. The good: At this location, I got a pristine, well-maintained bike. Im happy about that. The guys at the service counter were knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, etc. (These qualities are all lacking at the SFO and LV Eagle Rider). The bad: They are attached to a dealership. We wanted to rent the bikes when the shop opened at 9am, but the guy at the dealership told us to come back at 10:30. As any rider knows, that extra morning hour (especially in Queens) counts for a lot. The ugly: I got caught by one of these BS red-light cameras in Queens. These tickets carry $50 and no points, so Id just assume pay. Eagle Rider pleads guilty on my behalf and takes the opportunity to add another $50 "service charge" onto it. Kind of adds insult to injury.

August 19 – 23, 2014 My brother and I we had a great experience to Ride in USA. We drive around 1300 Miles from New York to Atlanta. We rented 2 harley davidson heritage softail classic from the Queens Village branch. Everyone there was extremely friendly and nice. Steve helped us with the explanation and talked slowly because we dont got good English, the bikes were ready, cleaned and we were given a good explanation of the controls at pick up and the configuration of the GPS. In the third day of ride, my brother had got a mechanic problem with her bike. I called the EagleRider´s emergency and the guys could help us. The drawback was the fixed time takes a whole day and we had delay the trip one and half days. But Eagle Rider rented a Hotel Room for that night in compensation. Steve was more concerned about us! and he gave us her mobile phone for contact to him every time was necessary. All of the experience was amazing! Thank you EagleRider and Steve. I hope we will Rent in next year another great experience.

RENTER BE AWARE.!!!!!! BEWARE BE CAREFUL BEFORE RENTING ANYTHING FROM EAGLE RIDER. THE BIKES THEY ADVERTISE IS NOT WHAT THEY PROVIDE FOR YOU WHEN YOU RENT. I rented a Ducati Multi strada 1200s and pictured it says it had hard side cases and when I got to the dealer at motorcycle mall it did not come with side cases but rather a small strapped down travel case AND all the modes were disabled so could not really enjoy the full versatility of the bike. ALSO THE BIKE WAS NOT REALLY LOOKED OVER CAREFULLY ENOUGH. The Kick stand sensor come out and almost derailed my entire trip if not for a good samaritan who helped jerryrig the bike so i could continue on my trip. EAGLE RIDDER Never mentions any of this at all. What is pictured would be what is being rented. AMA should drop them. THEY ARE VERY MISLEADING AND NOT HONEST SO MAKE SURE WHAT IS PICTURED IS WHAT IS ACTUALLY AVAILABLE. @ months later after complaining to the rep they still have not changed or updated the site. RENTER BE AWARE

June 12-15, 2014. I own an HD Wide Glide and a Ducati ST4, but for a 4-day outing with a bunch of 6 other friends riders, I wanted to try a big cruiser. I rented a 2013 Electra Glide Classic from the Queens Village branch. Everyone there was extremely friendly and nice, the bike was ready, cleaned and I was given a good explanation of the controls at pick up. It had over 10,000 miles but had been well pampered and looked great. We drove 1,000 miles from New York through Pennsylvania and back. We went through hell and high water (literally: 2 inches of rain in 1 day and then 90-degree heat 2 days later!). The Electra Glide behaved like a champ, with my CD player blasting non-stop Classic Rock tunes on highway and the canyons. The manager of Eagle Rider had given me his cell phone and he was there waiting for me when turning it in on Sunday. Sorry I was late by the way and thanks for everything!

We are starting a not-for-profit to help Vets battle and win against PTSD. This all surrounds riding. Just getting off the ground I am bikeless right now. Sold it a while back. They were not even really open for the season yet, but Steve Contino opened his shop early before the season and put us on the road! This was after many other shops said NO! If you can believe that! He/they were awesome. I picked up the bike the night before and had it back 24 hours later. Was on the road at 7 am! As far as hidden fees...?...hey - it cost whatever the rent is and then you know youre gonna pay insurance etc - fact of life - it cost what it cost. I could have rented a car for 70 bucks, but then it had 4 wheels and windows - haha! These guys were awesome.

Im a motorcycle enthusiast and I love so much to ride those two-wheel beasts with bloody powerful engines. Unfortunately I dont have opportunity to own a bike I dream every night about. Thanks a lot to EagleRider (in Queens Village) that they give me a chance to feel that unforgivable pleasure of feeling a freedom on two wheels. Every time Im eager to hit the road I rent a bike they offer. They have a good variety of bikes. Of course the price is not low but I couldnt find cheaper options. Their bikes are in very good condition, very fresh and the stores personnel is very friendly. I rented a bike couple times already and I havent been disappointed with their service. I recommend this location to everyone.

I made a reservation online for the next day, paid in advance and confirmed. On the day, 30mn before pick-up time and already on my way, I received a call from the shop saying there was no bike for me. The guy on the line was dry, offering no excuse or promo for future reservation, just saying he didnt understand why they let me book the bike. I guess its not his personal fault but clearly no customer experience perspective. I needed to cancel my week-end plan, including an hotel room for which I had to pay cancel fee. The only question asked was: "Shall I refund your credit card?" You got it genius! Will never use this shop again...

10/26/13 I rented a Harley Electra Glide to tour Long Island fall colors with my wife for our anniversary. Steve at Eagle Rider New York was very helpful. The bike was clean and fully serviced and ready to go when we arrived. The entire rental experience was great!! Long Island was more scenic than we expected and the ride was awesome. Steve reccomended the north shore route 25A and it was great. I currently have plans to rent from Eagle Rider Phoenix this Febuary and head back to ER New York to run upstate New York next fall. I would highly reccomend this to anyone limited by time to drive their own bike to a vacation spot.

I rented a bike to use for the Hispanic Day Parade in Manhattan and when the entire process was smooth and effortless. From the moment I made the reservation over the phone, until I returned the bike, I had a pleasant experience. Steve was courteous when I picked up the bike and thorough in the process of renting it. Although I originally rented a Bolt, he upgraded me to a better bike at no extra cost because the Bolt needed maintenance. He also went out of his way to stay an extra hour on Sunday so that I could return the bike after the parade finished. Overall, a great experience that I will repeat very soon.
