Ive shopped here, off and on, over the course of a few years. They have a decent selection of goods. Some are well priced, many are priced higher but thats sort of standard in a tiny health food store. I was turned off by their "rewards" program; you have to have your card *with* you. They cant just add it to your account using your phone number. So, unless youre always going to remember your card, it wont do you any good. (Shed say you can bring back your receipt with your card and theyll add it later. Again, who can remember that? If you can, by all means, maybe youll like it there) Today, I stopped in to buy a few things. The womans computer was down and she had me waiting. She kept rebooting it and said that she might have to write it up by hand. I stayed patient even though I was trying to get somewhere else. It seemed like I spent more $$ than I expected, but by then I was really running late and just left. Later, I realize she double charged me on two items (something was on sale at half price). I returned to the store since I knew Id probably not get back there if I didnt do it right away. She didnt apologize. She just said, "Oh, I can refund you the money." I was already figuring if she didnt offer me the product for free, I just wouldnt return. Too much hassle. I didnt plan on confronting her. Why bother. Just dont shop there, anymore. However, she then made a point of making sure the overcharge would not be counted toward my reward *if* I actually remembered to return with the card. I was getting pretty annoyed and said "You know, it would be great if you guys had reward cards like everyone else, where they can look you up and credit you, by phone number." She told me that, this way was better because Id get cash instead of a $10 credit. Why does that matter if youre going to shop there? I use those $10 credits from Mothers Earths just fine! I took issue and said, "Yeah, Im never going to remember, so it *isnt* better." She then said "You know, youre VERY RUDE." I said, "Im rude? I just came back here after you overcharged me and you didnt even offer anything to me to make up for it." She took a nasty tone and said "Oh, I guess you wanted to just get those items for free??" Uh...yeah. Actually, I did. Six whole dollars. Its more the principal of the thing, at this point. How much it my time worth? How much did she bother to even be sorry for anything? She was the person whose fault it all was. Its not like I got her to overcharge me because I was hoping to drive back for free things. Lady, if youre reading this, I hope you see how crazy that is. Then she added "You know, Im alone here! Im very busy!" I then took my sunglasses off to better look her in the face and said "Right. Because *Im* not busy?" Then I told her how self-centered that statement was. (Im also going to note that there were no other customers in the store now or earlier when Id first made my purchase. ) This lady had made me wait, earlier. Was incredibly unfocused, overcharged me on two items, didnt offer to compensate beyond just refunding the damage which was HER OWN FAULT. So, Im contributing the time to let you know. I certainly wont ever go there again. She even has my information in her system and she could apologize to me and Id never return. I dont need anyone treating me like that, especially after Id been patient with her. If you dont mind someone who is unfocused, may not be able to help you, wont apologize when theyve inconvenienced and overcharged you, maybe this place is for you. (:

Whenever I get a cold, it ends with an annoying cough that goes on for a couple of weeks. The embarrassing kind of cough, where I just cant stop. Usually happens in church! :( And over the counter cough medicines dont work. They make me feel worse. Im a regular at Health Connection, so when I had my last cold and I was going there anyway to pick up a few things, I thought Id ask for a recommendation. After one days worth of dosing with the recommended liquid, my cough was 100% better. I actually slept through that night without waking up with a coughing fit. All of the staff at Health Connection are so helpful and friendly. They get to know their customers and are always willing to offer advice without being pushy.

Great place! Loved the selection and the owner is knowledgeable and verry helpful. My new favorite health food store!
