This is a very functional pharmacy, with all the same stuff youd get at a brand store except: 1. You dont have tons of shelf space dedicated to 11 versions of the same thing, 2) Its better curated - the stuff they have is always the higher-quality (like solgar vs centrum). I guess this makes sense for the upper east side. 2. No expired stuff on the shelves... they stock better, and youll see that they actively keep restocking, rather than overstocking and then letting things expire. Dont look at the "bad" reviews. The quality of the products speaks for itself. (( The awning doesnt say "fax" like a service, its the fax for the pharmacy, so you can fax in a prescription. The place isnt "sad" looking. Its old NY, and its cool. And wiring money? Thats a hard business to run, MSBs are regulated heavily, and Gallery has no control over the guidelines. Next time try Paypal. ))

I can assure you that Gallery Drug is one of the last of its kind: a "mom and pop" old school caring pharmacy with a personalized touch. The focus here is on PRESCRIPTIONS, not cosmeceuticals window dressing and b.s.. This is the pharmacy you go to when you need help getting a prescription filled quickly, where there are knowledgeable, friendly pharmacists who know your name, answer your questions and dont keep you waiting for hours, In addition, they will go the extra mile for patients with unusual needs and will NOT push crummy generic alternatives because the profit margin is higher. I have suffered untold frustration with the poor customer service, ridiculously high prices and poorly trained pharmacists at Duane Reades et al. From now on, Im going to Gallery.

This is truly one of a dying breed. A real mom and pop, customer first, well help you out, kind of pharmacy that puts all the Wallgreens, CVS, and Duane Reades to shame. Most youll ever wait for a script is ten minutes up on walking in and they have everything. Even obscure stuff that all the major brands never carry. Do yourself a favor and make this your go-to drug store.

Have been going here for years. Neil and his team are great. The are very accommodating and professional. Prompt deliveries and the prices are reasonable for NYC. Forget the old school ambiance when you walk in the door . These guys are the best.I like to shop at a neighborhood gem that should have local support. My mother also loved this place.

Gallery Drug is a sad looking Drug Store. I don’t think many people shop here. Instead they go to Duane Reade. The front of Gallery Drug sells candy and cards. The pharmacy part is downstairs.

Awesome mom-and-pop pharmacy. One of the last of its kind. They are very compassionate and offer great discounts, especially if you happen to not have insurance. Highly recommended. A++++
