Possibly the worst bridal store ever!!! We waited 15 minutes for someone to acknowledge we were there, my sister came with who is in my wedding and brought her daughter who was asleep in her carseat carrier (she is only 9 mon). once we were greeted and asked what we were there for the lady stated well you go to the bridal section because we have 3 ladies up there already, I couldnt believe we couldnt even look at the wedding dresses because they only allow 3 people in the bridal gown section at once!!! Then the lady rudely stated and when you can go up you cant take the child, seriously! she is a baby sleeping what is she possibly going to harm, and where would you like to put her in the car? They were beyond rude, and I have never heard of a place that does not allow children. Needless to say I have been other places and they have been great quick greeting very helpful and allow children, which is nice so that we can get my flower girls dresses as well, and might I add more than happy to have the little girls there as well, not look at them as though we brought a rabid dog in the place like they did at the Bridal Emporium. I will be sure to tell everyone I know about the horrible service at this place!!!!!!

This place was my first experience searching for gowns and it made me not want to look anymore. The staff was rude. We had taken my niece to look for dresses since she will be my flower girl and we had wanted to also look for dresses that might fit her. They were upset because they did not want to allow children in the store. There were only two ladies working and both were dressed like they were going hiking, not like they were selling wedding dresses. Very unprofessional. My maid of honor also went with me and I was glad because she ended up handing me the dresses I was going to try on. There was one consultant and I was one of three brides trying on dresses. I had a hard time getting my questions answered and got more information from the over hearing the consultant answering another brides questions. Their selection was terrible and very small. The store smelled musty. The dressing rooms were too small. The dresses were dirty. I am very discouraged by this place and would encourage others to stay away. As a bride-to-be, shopping for a dress with your bridal party should be fun. Instead, we could not wait to get out of the store and decided not to look any further today.

Horrible experience. We showed up at 11am on a Monday and was immediately asked if we had an appointment. When saying no, she told us we couldnt view any of the dresses without an appointment and because they had an appointment at 130. Even though we were the only people in the store they still were even hesitant about letting us see the brides maid gowns. After that, one of the employees came down the stairs and said "I just wont eat lunch and take you." Like they were doing us a favor. When we got up stairs they asked me what I liked and I had said we have just started looking. Instead of letting us look around she immediately started picking out dresses without even letting me sift through any! After trying on a couple my mother and maid of honor ended up not liking, the employee looked at me and said "well what do you like," in a snotty tone. Also after telling her I am more of a tom boy, she persisted to give me a pitch about each designer the dress was made by. I wanted to turn around and say "I DONT CARE WHO MAKES IT, I JUST WANT IT TO LOOK GOOD." After a short 15-20 min visit I just wanted to get out of there. I knew I was not finding a dress there.

Rude, very pushy, for some reason if u plan to buy your wedding gown and bridesmaids dresses there you cant look at them next to eachother? I will never go back here, and will warn all my friends and family to stay away. We came once not realizing you need to have an appointment because another place didnt but it was an honest mistake and as we can it our back tire was popped because of razors that hadnt been cleaned up so we came in and asked to look and try stuff on while we waited for help, and they told us no we need to have an appointment, but the whole emporium was empty! And then on our third try the lady told me I was only allowed to look at certain dresses I wasnt welcomed to to at them all. And when we finally found something we liked for my maid of honor the one worker would never leave us and just kept telling us we needed to buy the dress she used in her wedding because she wanted to see it used again.... Im extremely disappointed in this store...Danels bridal is much more satisfying I had better success there and theyre very friendly and helpful....

My son got engaged this summer. He and his fiance were only in town for one week. We were all very excited about this event. I took my future daughter-in-law to go wedding dress shopping. We went into the Bridal Emporium on a Saturday and we were asked at the door if we had an appointment. When we said no, we were told we could not even look around. The one lady was not apologetic but made us feel we were infringing on her just being there. The other girl stayed behind the desk. I quickly found out we were not really welcome. I was embarrassed for taking my future daughter-in-law there. The experience really put a damper on our excitement. Who knew you needed an appointment on a SATURDAY. There is no place in the triple cities to shop for a wedding dress. The only other place in the area we went to, we were never greeted at all!

I have never been treated so rudely by a saleswoman in my life. My daughter was shopping for a prom gown at the Bridal Emporium in Endicott, NY, we were looking only at the time because she was unsure of what she wanted. If she found something that she liked I intended on purchasing a gown for her. The saleswoman must have felt we were not dressed in good enough fashion to be in her shop and told my daughter she could not try on a couple of the gowns that she had chosen because they were too expensive, so then she told us to stop wasting her time and to go waste someone elses time. I can guarantee we will never step foot in the place again and I will make sure my family and friends know how rudely we were treated. Maybe she should take some classes on being polite.

The experience started out pretty well, the sales lady directed us to the different gowns and after I had picked some out to try on, the sales associate disappeared! My sister had to help lace me up in the different gowns and the sales lady would occasionally appear in the corner of the room, but never said a word or offered ANY help. There is only one flat mirror to look at yourself in the gowns, so you dont get to see yourself from different angles. I guess it wouldnt have been so bad if the sales associate wasnt just LURKING in the corner staring at us but not offering assistance or saying a word. Creepy.
