OUTSTANDING! Look, no one in todays world really expects much in terms of service. We expect the cheapest possible price, and just kind of get used to the idea that service is going to be minimal. This place is different, though - they are REALLY good! Heres my experiences with them: 1991 Mazda Miata, I love the car, but its undrivable in the winter because of the light weight and rear-wheel drive. But these guys give me a great deal on snow tires - I got them on rims (then I put inexpensive wheel covers on my own), and they switch them out every spring/fall. The Miata drove GREAT all winter with snow tires - much better than any other cars on the road! (Well, except for being low to the ground, but hey, its a sports car...the grip on the road, however, even with rear wheel drive, is fantastic!). I eventually got rear-ended, and bought: - 1993 Toyota Celica, and several years into owning it, I slam into a curb and bend the rim. My regular mechanic says it will be a bunch of money for a crappy steel rim replacement, or an ungodly amount for a matching rim. At Discount Tire, I got ALL FOUR rims replaced for less than $100 each! The rims look great, and made the car look awesome! - My wifes 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer. Seeing as the Miata drove so well on snow tires, we spent the money (it was like $800 for rims and tires, something like that?), and again, Discount Tire switches them for free every spring/fall. Man, who needs four-wheel drive when you got snow tires? And actually, four-wheel drive doesnt help a vehicle when stopping...but snow tires do! My reason for writing today? I was dumb and waited for the first snowfall to get the snow tires and rims switched back on. So there was a huge wait - like, 60 cars ahead of me. Stupid me for waiting. But the guys at Discount Tire were SO nice! I waited in like for 15-20 minutes, and during my wait a guy apologized for the long wait to us. It was my fault for waiting till the first snow day, but man, that was nice! When I got up front, the guy took my key, told me it would be ready that night, I walked home, they called that night (they worked so late! Way past their regular closing time, it was like 9:30pm when they called...a half-hour before they said theyd be ready - well done!) I walked on over, picked up the car (no charge), and Bobs your uncle! All this incredible service, from buying snow tires several years ago, theyre still switching them out for free every spring/fall...and so nice about it! I tell ya, I only really like three brands - Apple, Toyota...and Discount Tire. It feels WEIRD raving about a tire place, but well done, guys!

I purchased a set of tires and TPM sensors for my new wheels mid-summer of 2016 and it has been nothing but one disappointment after another with this location. First they installed the wrong TPM sensors in my Mini S. After failing to reset the sensors twice, the sales associate informs me that my TPMS computer is faulty and that there is nothing they can do for me. (Even though the factory ones worked fine one day prior.) After a trip to Mini, it was discovered that Discount installed the wrong sensors in the car. I then went back to the store and asked them to correct the situation. After hesitation from the sales associate, they begrudgingly ordered a set of O.E. sensors for the car. I was told that this should only take 2 business days but after a week they still hadn’t arrived. I once again had to stop in to get a status update as I wasn’t able to get an answer over the phone. Finally, almost 2 weeks after arrival date I was quoted, the sensors arrived. They were installed and magically the sensor light turned off and more importantly stayed off. No apology for the repeated trips in, nothing. Flash forward to 4/1/17 I go to have my summer wheels installed. I drop the car off and 2 hours later I get a call that the vehicle is done, great. When I get there they inform me that they broke one of my lug studs off and that I need to take it to a place called Tuan Auto for repair. I then ask if I can have it repaired at the Mini dealership, where all my service is done and was promptly told that was not an option. When I called Tuan’s they told me they were pretty busy but I could drop the car off the next day and they would get to it when they had a chance. As this is my only means of transportation, I told them this wouldn’t work and asked them if it was possible to schedule an appointment? He hastily told me it would be about a week and a half before I could bring the car in to be looked at. He didn’t take my name or any information, so who knows if I will even have the reservation when I get there. While I understand things happen, the lack of care and professionalism shown by this location is unacceptable.

Need a ZERO-star option here... Discount Tire did price-match a lower price I had found online, though the price they originally tried to charge was WAY over every source I had looked at ("Discount" isnt synonymous with "gouge unless theyre smart enough to shop around" in my book). Called at noon today to see if they could put my tires on, which the guy on the phone said "yes" to. I then asked if "3 oclock would work?" and he again replied "yes". Great (or so I thought). I arrived at 2:50 and told Erik at the counter about the phone call conversation I had had at noon, and if this would all be said and done so I could pick my son up at daycare in two hours just to be safe, even though I (thought I) was scheduled for 3 oclock and it should not take more than 20-30 minutes for a competent tire tech to mount and balance four new tires. Of course, the salesman-Erik brushed that off with an "Of course, thatll be no problem." 1 hour and 42 minutes later, my truck was pulled into the bay. I approached Erik to ask why it had taken so long to get it into the bay and his reply was (paraphrasing) "Oops, I forgot you said that whole two hour thing, why didnt you remind me?" and "we didnt have any appointments open for today, only walk-ins" when I reminded him about the phone call I had made at noon. It took about 45 minutes before my truck was brought out to me, and needless to say I was unable to pick my son up from daycare on time. I am pissed because on the phone I was led to believe I had an appointment for 3 oclock, then I was told "no problem" for picking my son up at daycare in two hours, then basically brushed off when I complained. Not to mention Eriks lack of professionalism. Why on earth should I have to remind him how to do his job? By the way, the nice woman sitting next to me in the lobby told me she was quoted 45 minutes for her vehicle to be done, and an hour and a half later her vehicle hadnt even been pulled into the bay yet. I will not spend another penny at a business that treats its customers this way, and will be sure to share this experience with all my friends.
