Im a semi-new member and have worked in customer service for many years- so I know what it means to go above and beyond. Today, I experienced the WORST customer service from this Costco location. After running in briefly to buy a couple items, I went back to my car only to realize my battery was dead. Thinking someone in Costco would surely be willing to assist me, I went back, explained my situation to the greeter who then directed me to the Costco Tire store. Once there, I again explained the situation and asked if someone could give me a jump. The man matter of factly stated he could not help and no one else would likely be able to help me either, but hed go ask just in case. He comes back and says "yeah no, we cant help...but someone will give you his jumper cables to use if you can find someone to help." I didnt feel comfortable asking shoppers in and outside the store as everyone seemed to be in a hurry in the freezing cold. I had also called my insurance company and realized we only had roadside for one of our cars - not the one I was driving (by mistake). So my husband left his job to come assist me. Then I realized my phone battery was almost dead and would need the phone to tell my husband where I was. Thinking I could simply explain my situation to an electronics Costco employee theyd surely let me charge my iPhone battery that was currently at 4%. I was wrong! The woman said "no, we dont let customers charge their phone cause then you could say something is wrong with it afterward." So here I was...in a store where I just shopped and no one there would help me out at all. I was stuck in every sense of the word. It was truly unbelievable. I wanted to cry. My advice to Costco---treat people as human beings! I have already told this story to five people and it just happened today. Just imagine how easy it would have been for one of your employees to be kind, empathetic and helpful. I told my sister who works in the tire industry and she stated their tire shop has a jumper cable set for situations like this. I would have gladly paid your tire store for helping me. Very disappointed....and will avoid this location for now on.

Ive been a member at least five years and up to this point, never had to bad experience. The staff or team on the floor was very helpful and curtious. I went to purchase a moving package and it was a great price compared to its competitors. While in line my friend and I watched as the cashier, obviously having a bad day, was very rude to customer ahead of us when she tried to pay for her purchase with a credit card...the cashier told her, "we only take american express" in a very rude expression. My friend and I were shocked by the cashiers lack of professionalism. The same cashier told me my card had expired four days earlier and refused to allow me make a purchase...the manager came over and agreed with the cashier. When my friend said shed buy it they said,"no you cant do that how do we know you two know each other"... I guess the fact that we were two different nationalities that couldnt have been possible. It was very embarrassing and unprofessional, I felt as if I were being accused of trying to take the item. Ive been a loyal customer for over 5 years but now Im rethinking my buying options.

Never order online, I purchased a laptop in early August and the expected shipping was 10 to 15 days. This was longer than other websites (Best Buy shipped Free in 4 days), but it was acceptable. I recently got an email that my laptop will not be arriving until early September, that is a month to ship if it arrives on time! UPDATE: Costco felt bad about delaying the shipping and awarded me a $50 credit to their store. Ok, issue resolved right? WRONG. A MONTH later, when my package was set to arrive after the delays, I get another email from costco. They told me that they could no longer deliver the laptop I ordered. REALLY, it took them 1 month to take inventory and realize that they could not supply me with the laptop. Then they offered me an upgrade... "upgrade". My original laptop had 16 GB of ram, and the "upgrade" they offered me had 8GB! Thats at least $100 downgrade! This is possibly the worst I have ever seen a inventory situation handled, taking almost a MONTH to downgrade my laptop. Terrible customer service.

This location is no different than the others so my review is about Costco in general not this particular outlet. That said... I wont be renewing my membership this year. It really just isnt worth the money to me. Gasoline was really the biggest savings but you have to sit in line for 20 minutes to get gas every time no matter what time of day you go. As far as groceries the quality of products are good and I like the Kirkland brand but I just dont think the prices are that great for the hassle of the overly crowded store and long lines to checkout. On top of that they dont even bag up my groceries, after checkout I have to dig thru a pile of empty cardboard boxes and pack it up myself. I found myself going here less and less because i cant stand how long it takes to get in and out of this place. I guess if you owned a restaurant or other business this would be a good deal for the membership but as a single consumer Ill just stick with Walmart and the other, no paid membership, food chains!

We purchased a couch on a Wednesday and were told that it would not be a problem to pick it up the next morning. When we arrived Thursday morning to pick it up we were told that since the receipt had a black mark on it, we had already left with the couch, which was not the case. Apparently the employee at the exit door is not supposed to mark the receipt unless you are leaving with the items printed on it. Instead of calling the manager who signed the bottom of the pick up ticket, we had to wait while the employees counted and double counted their inventory to make sure we were not trying to steal a couch. Talk about embarrassing. Out of everyone involved, only one employee apologized. A good bit of humiliation and 50 minutes later, were allowed to leave with it. Moral of the story- if you are picking your item up at a later date, dont let them mark your receipt, or you may get accused of stealing an entire couch...

Love shopping here. always clean, well organized, and great products, exceptional employees. The only exception would be dont but a computer from there, especially not a Dell. Power cord plug in port to the laptop came partially loose after 9 months causing the round port to be off center so could not plug in cord at all. Called the supposed concierge service and they automatically wanted to charge me $200 for repair which was really piss poor quality, although they instantly stated i somehow damaged after i explained. Of course this was not the case since i spent about $800 something and handled it carefully. Will never have a dell product again even if given to me, unfortunately heard several first had bad dell reviews after my purchase. Definitely go elsewhere since dell or the costco concierge service are useless.
