Service is more than sub par. The waiters would be more at home at a dairy queen drive thru. Went to left bank and ordering a dozen oysters to start & they brought out cold bread with the little butter squares wrapped in foil. But the butter is FROZEN! How difficult is it to serve warm bread and butter that you dont have to put between your butt cheeks to somewhat warm it up. Back to the oysters. The server just put them on the table & started to walk away. I got his attention, if you could call it that. I asked what kind of oysters they were & he said I think there the kind that come from the ocean. The oysters were black & soon small the shell was at least 3 times the size of whatever was in those shells. We had 1 each & realized how disgusting they were. 20 minutes later when he came back to take our order & I told him about how disgusting the oysters were, they looked like little turds. His response was let me go talk to the manager & well only charge you for the 2 you ate. ????¿??!¡?? Are you kidding me. So to end my rant, I confronted the chef & told him he serves low grade dog food, how are you a chef & think you can send out rotten oysters. The manager tried to charge me for the 2 oysters, I let him know that he was the most arrogant douchebag I have ever met. I told him I wasnt paying for anything and he should re-re-train his pathetic staff. He got snotty when I said I would not pay and handed him my phone which I already dialed 911 but I didnt press send. I told him to press send & we would wait for the police. He gave my phone back to me and apologized. I responded with something that sounds a bit like go truck yourself you arrogant mastered.

Found the best way is to walk from the Moorpark underpass at S. Monroe. Sometimes parking at Santana Row is difficult. There are many interesting shops, many upscale expensive "to make an impression" restaurants, but I found Rosie McCanns Irish Pub & Restaurant to be a delightful, unpretentious, reasonably-priced place for draft beer and appetizer dishes (especially during the Happy Hours). We made a meal of beer, garlic fries (good or better than Gordon Bierschs), deep fried onion rings (mild and delicious!) and bacon-wrapped shrimp (a real tasty treat) - all for under $30. Among the interesting shops is a Tesla showroom with a lot of information about the several models. There were lots of displays and vehicles you could sit in, but no high pressure sales tactics. I was interested especially because my next car will be electric and autonomous - promised by Tesla. Other people will find other places of interest. We saw long lines outside other restaurants and wondered if the food was as good as at Rosies, but could see from the menu it was much more expensive. Ive heard from relatives that there is an excellent massage parlor worth the trip from Palo Alto, but I have no experience with it. Ladies might want to investigate if the praise is deserved.

If you often find someone else deciding what should be on your burger, pickles, onions, whatever, and want to really get it done right, then The Counter is your place. With a checklist of available ingredients that you select, there is virtually an unlimited number of combinations for what makes your burger. Oh wait, are you on a no-bread diet? Thats fine! Replace your bun with a bed of mixed greens, and you all of a sudden have a hearty salad with all the same selection of ingredients, which is staggering for a burger or even a salad. I wont attempt to list them here, but having a crazy variety of diets on our team, The Counter is one of the few places where we can all get something perfect for us. The only request I make while Im there is that theyd offer a quarter pound burger, since the smallest third of a pound after cooking could suffice to serve as 2 meals. Still I find myself pounding down my burger every time they are just so good. I recommend the pretzel bun, and avocado with garlic aoli sauce.

Ive been coming here since it first opened and Ive always been impressed with how well its managed. If Im honest I can think of only a handful times when Ive actually gone here to purchase anything but its generally a very pleasant place to walk around, or get coffee and there are a lot of restaurants. When it first opened parking was the main concern. It was a nightmare, and not somewhere you wanted to visit on a weekend. They have done a great job with a complex parking sensor and light system to make sure everyone can figure it out. Now even on a busy day its very manageable. The entire mall is well maintained and very clean making it a nice place to visit. Most shops are on the high-end side but there is something for everyone here, from Best-Buy to unusual stationary stores.

The developers created a small city from scratch, and boy did Silicone Valley need this place! There are all kinds of restaurants here, cool shops, and plenty of parking. The plantings have grown in nicely. The trees are tall. Lots of outdoor venues for food & drink. The main thoroughfare is partially closed to cars on Sundays, creating safe environments for families with kids. Sometimes there is music. Holidays are celebrated & decorated. Im not sure Id want to live in the apartments on the upper floors above the shops & restaurants. Im betting its noisy. On the other hand they have a front row seat smack in the middle of this happy pretty new village. Havent been here in a while? Go back & check it out. You might be surprised at the new stores & eateries.

A beautiful place to shop, eat and listen to live music on the street. The shops range from little independent boutiques to higher end shops like Gucci. We went on a Saturday afternoon and there was plenty of nearby parking in the area. The restaurants are fantastic, a lot of them offering outside, pavement seating on Sanatana Row itself. Most of the row is pedestrianised so there were little markets and craft fairs down the middle of the street in amongst the pretty coffee shops and eating establishments. The sound of live music drifting across the area added to a wonderful stress free shopping g experience. This place is a credit to San Josè . Will be visiting again.

We have lunches and dinners here about once a week. Its a nice lively atmosphere with a really diverse crowd. I like the fact that its an even mix of shops, restaurants and bars. Parking is usually pretty easy with the garages and the lot across the street. The sidewalks can get crowded especially with all the sidewalk dining tables, but one section of the row is closed to traffic on Friday and Saturday nights and thats the nicest place to walk around at those times. In my opinion, they should find a way to close traffic permanently down the middle and open those areas up for more casual dining or shops. Also, drinking and dining here can be pricey.
