I have been going to PetSmart for 5 years now for Grooming along with purchasing food, toys and other items for my 2 sweet dogs. I walked into PetSmart yesterday morning at 7am for my Grooming appointment. The floors had urine and hair ALL OVER the aisles. My dog had a accident on the floor. I proceeded to clean up his accident and walked over to the station where they have paper towels, disinfectant for the floors along with bags and of coarse, disinfectant for your hands. After cleaning up, the trash can was filled completely to the top and when I went to get hand sanitizer, there was no HAND SANITIZER!! When I got into the Grooming area, IT ALSO LOOKED BAD! I was very upset. This has not been the first time that I have taken this to MANAGEMENT. I met with a friend of mine this afternoon after I had refered her to the groomer that I use. What a mistake! They charged my friend more than my cost per dog, and her dog is a puppy, the Grooming area was filthy! There was hair all over everywhere and the trash can was also overflowing along with urine on the floors and walls. I even had 2 of the store managers come in and want to speak with me over my complaint. One manager walked in and was very nice but then walked out and the other stayed and wanted to speak to me AS WE DID. I asked her if the Grooming area looked filthy to her? I told her to look at the floors and all the hair all over, including the hair overflowing in the trash can. HER RESPONSE WAS IT WILL BE CLEANED UP. keep in mind there was only 1 lady in there. It makes you wonder how clean the kennel area is? This manager said to me PetSmart does not open to the public till 9 am, and the cleaning crew comes in at 8 am, I told her that when your Grooming Department opens at 7am and I have a appointment I CONSIDER MYSELF AS PART OF THE PUBLIC. I appoligized to my dear friend. Never again will I recommend PetSmart to anyone. I was fortunate to find a person who has a Mobil Grooming Company. Yes, its a little more but well worth the cost.

Went in yesterday, Feb 10 2017, looking to get female mice to breed with my male. I didnt make this known to them. There where 4 female workers on the floor went I went in around 5pm. I asked the register worker who I ask about mice. She told me to ask one of the workers occupied with another customer. I waited patiently near them while they attended to other customers. So I look around and spot a freezer with chichlid or something like that for fish, then I spot at the bottom frozen feeder mice. Then one of the workers comes up to me and tells me straight out "we dont sell live feeder mice". Im assuming the register worker told her coworker(dark black hair, white overused makeup) I needed help. She comes up to me automatically assuming I need mice to feed to a reptile ALREADY refusing me service without even knowing my intentions. I gave a bewildered look and said "I need female mice for breeding not feeding". Then she tells me to wait there. Comes back after speaking withe her co worker at the register and says "we dont have female mice". Without even checking the box or inventory list (just her coworkers/friends answer) in any form or fashion just tells me straight off they dont have any. Now 1 of 2 things happened here that need to be addressed. First I was refused service because they felt my intentions with the mice were suspicious and didnt want me to have mice forgetting to leave their feelings at home, alway coming up with an counter answer to my reason i.e. no mice for feeding - im breeding though and i need females - we dont have females. The 2nd and I apologize if this sounds sexist but its a known fact the majority of women hate mice and are terrified/disgusted of them, they refused to help me because they didnt want to touch mice. Which I ask why the F*** are you working in a pet store with rodents then? Horrible staff and professionalism. They need courses in bussiness and training often or a new staff. Never going here again.

First off this staff has NO CLUE what they are doing. I've been in on several occasions only to realize they are the epitome of what's wrong with major corporations taking over the 'littleworld guy'. My first experience was when I went in to purchase a new lighting setup for my fish tank. I asked for a T5 fixture and bulb, the clerk then proceeded to tell me that T5 fluorescents were not used for Fishtanks and 'if I want to grow weed then buy supplies online or from a nursery'. I truly cannot believe A) I was accused of that absurdity to my face and B) this salesperson had the gall to argue and accuse me of something when they clearly do not know their business. The last time I was in there I walked around for 45you minutes looking for a salespersons assistance. Upon being unsuccessful I headed out the store to see that 5 employees, including the manager in duty were at one register taking care of a line that exceeded 10 people. If you need pet supplies DO NOT GO TO PETSMART IN HANFORD CALIFORNIA

When my mom picked up my dog she said the girl said before she could even ask why is he limping. He was limping when u brought him in. No he was not! He is family in my house, he is so well taken care of that he is 15 1/2 years old. He has never been the same since. This was a year ago and he still has the knot on his hip. When my mom talked to manager (always rude and short as if your wasting her time) she said when they get to be that old we should bathe at home cuz the stress is too much on them. I agree with her on that but she doesnt have to be so defensive when u approach her w/ any question. Always a sigh then her answer... If she dont like ppl or her job why dont she go work in receiving at Target or Sears? Where she wont be bothered and upset so much. Just an opinion is all. Other then that experience and her, everyone else there is wonderful, very polite, & actually know what they are talking about. Very impressive indeed....

I went in to get a flea bath and grooming for my poor cat, who was infested with fleas despite using a flea treatment. First of all, I explained my intentions when I first set up the appointment in person. The only thing they told me they required was a rabies vaccination record. They neglected to tell me that I needed to bring my own flea shampoo for the cat (which I had) and told me I had to buy it from the store. Thankfully, they decided to dilute the dog flea shampoo. I didnt have to take another hour to go back to my home and come back with the shampoo. Other than that, they were very professional, and the groomer took the time to try to study up on my cat beforehand to try to provide the best service.
