I am a Truck Driver, who lives in Michigan. I had the duty to deliver goods to various places here in Eureka, CA over the last few days so that the people of the community could enjoy their comforts living this great american life. As for me, I am stuck living in a box smaller than a prison cell, being charges with a vehicle that almost totals 70 feet in length. While you go home to sleep in your bed I have to find a safe place to park my rig so I can sleep. I had found such a place here, Way in the back lot, completely away from the customers. I was not blocking any Driveway, or Door. I was not disrupting customers in any way. I did not dump any liquid from my truck, nor did I leave behind any litter of any kind. My Vehicle does not leek any fluids, so my spot I was in was just as clean as it was when I had arrived. I had a few Police officers wave to me as they drove by to make sure the area was secure. I felt safe here. I did go inside to do some shopping. I now, regret that decision. I was told by a security officer that "The Operations Manager of the mall does not want any Trucks parking at the mall" and thus told me to leave, or he was going to call the cops on me for trespassing. That moment I felt like a Low life, piece of scum. I felt like a homeless man just wanting a nice nights sleep. I wish I had not shopped in this mall because I do not want to support any Business that has, or employs people with an attitude like this. I am sorry Mr. Operations Manager, but I do not want to sleep in a place that might put my life in danger just to appease your personal distaste of us "Truckers" I am Sorry that the world does not give us any luxury for the service that we have to do to make this country move. I hope you enjoy sleeping in your comfy bed that a truck delivered, I hope you enjoy your Finley cooked meal that a Trucker delivered all so you can go to work, and treat us like the scum that apparently we are. You have a massive lot, in a town where there is zero truck services for hundreds of miles. As long as we are not disrupting your customers, Why are we treated like we are not welcome ? So, Mr. Operations Manager, I would like to spread my opinion. I, Do not want people to shop here. I urge anyone reading this to shop elsewhere. If you possibly can get your goods from other sources, Please do so. Maybe the drop in Customers will make "Mr. Operations Manager" realize that treating people, no matter what profession, or way of life they choose, like scum is not ok. I have returned what items I could that I bought but regret I could not return everything. If I am ever in this area again, I will never spend a single penny in this place ever again. My money is spent to business that support My way of life. Who treat me like a Human being, and who care about my safety.

I love going to Bayshore Mall as there is a store for just about everybody. At Sears you can buy clothes, appliances, gym workout equipment, tools for mechanics at the Craftsman section, and a lot more, there are also bathrooms. At Kohls located at the opposite end of the mall from Sears, there are shoes, clothes, and electronics, and Bathrooms. They have a Pier Imports store which is a furniture and decor store. Theres also GameStop for gamers, 2 hair-cut places, the first located near the T-J Max we have and the 2nd near GameStop. There is a Walmart with okay service, a dedicated electronics corner with some music CDs as enter it, Video games and video game consoles, school supplies, phones which you can buy pre-paid services for, and a fishing section next to the electronics. but surprisingly clean bathrooms. There is a play-place for younger kids called Bounca-Palooza which has air hockey, inflatable slides, and an option to book a party for a kids birthday. There is a Music Store called FYE which has a very large collection of CDs, electronics, DVDs, Blu-Ray, and sometimes video games. There a few shoe stores looks "Journeys" but you could go to Kohls with better prices. All of our local RadioShacks closed down including the one in this mall. There is a food court which has Burger King, Subway, a Chinese restaurant, a Japanese restaurant, a coffee place, ice-cream place, and a Mexican restaurant called Los Gallons with great Sopes and Horchata. I generally like the Bay shore mall because of the varietys but there is a Target on the other end of Town.

If youve seen the original Dawn of the Dead you kind of know what to expect here. The shoppers may not be zombies, but they sure seem like it. In addition to a consumer base that seems to share three brain cells, there are empty storefronts just begging to be filled with overpriced goods, some anchor stores of name (Walmart - and all you would expect to come with it, Kohls, and Sears), a food court where your chance of getting sick is far greater than the odds that you order will be taken properly, and a security staff that seems incapable of stopping a sneeze. What is the Bayshore Mall good for? People watching and Coast Central Credit Union, which is open seven days a week. The place doesnt even have a bookstore anymore, and that should tell you all you need to know.

Annoying rude people. Some of those wanna be rental cops are rude(only 1) she knows who she is. 1.5, that malls embarrassing and to top it off? Half the place is dead with closed stores. Sad excuse to call it a mall. No one pays attention either. Half the morons in the mall are kids who cant get their ass of their phones and pay attention. This is the most annoying place in eureka. Dont think i forgot about you Wallmart? Who in their right f* mind decides to take out the best store there and puts in a WALLMART? ARE YOU 5 and Mentally Challenged? Only reason i go to this so called "Mall" is its a short walk. I like Gamestop! 8.5 for them.

As far as GGP property malls, this one is pretty bad. It looks kind of dirty, the tile floor is falling apart, and there isnt much in the way of ambience. The food court has maybe 5 choices, and the selection of stores isnt great either. Just your typical Gap, Sears, Pier 1, teen stores, etc. No good womens apparel, but you can kind of see why when you go out in town...not many "finer" retailers would want to come here, this definitely isnt their clientele. I moved to the area a while ago, and I went to the mall to see what was there. I havent been back--I shop online and in locally-owned stores.
