Went there today to find out about getting a seat cover put on and the older blonde hair lady was very rude and was basically very negative and was saying how much of a big deal it was to put it on rather than give me a professional quote. She goes on to say how busy they were etc. I was very polite the entire time until her negative attitude exceeded my patients. I couldnt believe this place was in business with her treating people aka potential customers like they are disposable. I told her never mind I catch her vibe and wouldnt be back and she said good lol I also told her I would spread the word of mouth that she has a less than professional attitude when it comes to the customers that feeds her. I would think twice and find a nicer professional place to go. This lady probably the owner has grown to big for her britches. lol

I HAVE NOTHING BUT WONDERFUL THINGS TO SAY ABOUT APPLE CORE. THE STORE IS FULL OF BEAUTIFUL THINGS, THE SERVICE IS STELLAR AND THE QUALITY OF THEIR WORK IS OUTSTANDING. I HAD MY GRANDFATHERS ROLL TOP DESK REDONE LAST MONTH AT APPLE CORE AND I COULDNT BE MORE PLEASED WITH THE RESULTS. BARBY SHARP AND HER CO-WORKERS ARE PLEASANT, HELPFUL AND GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO MAKE CERTAIN THEIR CUSTOMERS ARE HAPPY AND SATISFIED. APPLE CORE IS A LOVELY PLACE, SMELLS HEAVENLY AND IS RUN BY ONE OF THE SWEETEST, KINDEST AND MOST COMPETENT LADIES I KNOW!

The Quality is not bad. But the service is horrible was going spend $250 on a lamp but they didnt even acknowledge my husband and I. We were treated as if we were not even in the store. If your Caucasian and walk in they will acknowledge you and say hi, any other race you should just leave as you will not get treated the same. Im so glad I didnt even spend a penny in the store and wouldnt recommend it to any of my friends or family. I dont wish them any ill will because karma will take care of that for me.

BARBARA SHARP HAS THE PEOPLE SKILLS OF A CHILD! CALLED THE STORE TO HAVE A MEETING WITH THE OWNER. I WAS TREATED LIKE DIRT! SHE IS A VERY CRUDE OLD LADY AND NEEDS TO TAKE A CLASS IN CUSTOMER SERVICE! I AM SO GLAD I ESTABLISHED THIS BEFORE SPENDING ANY MONEY HERE! THE OTHER REVIEWS FOR THIS PLACE HAVE TO BE FROM BARBARA HERSELF! THE STORE SMELLS LIKE TRASH AND THEY TREAT THERE CUSTOMERS LIKE TRASH TOO! GLAD I DIDNT GIVE YOU ANY MONEY BARBARA! YOU DONT DESERVE ANY REVENUE FOR THE WAY YOU TREAT PEOPLE!

Ive past this shop for years and recently decided to stop in. They have such beautiful things and the staff was wonderful. I had Apple Core recover and refinish and old family piece that belonged to my grandmother and the result was so far beyond my expectations. I have to say that this is one of my favorite places to visit and the first place I stop if Im looking for a special gift.

Excellent store, a lot of very solid, beautiful antiques. Wouldnt even consider buying a single item from the very rude people working there though. If you are under 50, dont expect to be acknowledged or helped in a respectable way. The elderly ladies there wont recognize your presence in the store, other than giving off the vibe that they want you to leave.

Today my husband and I planned a date to The Apple Core Antiques to browse and price out an upholstery job for new couch cushions. Although busy, we received excellent service from Barbara and the rest of the staff. (We then had a delicious lunch at Maxines on Shine!) If you love American Antiques this is the place to check out!

These people are great where it counts. They recovered our lounge chair and ottoman ahead of schedule. Their pricing was very reasonable and their quality was excellent. Im a designer, I know good quality when I see it. I would recommend them to anyone and plan to use them again.

Ive been a customer of apple core for years. My son and I took our first trip there when he was in kindergarten and now that hes an adult, he still shops there when hes looking for something he wants me to love. One of many terrific antique shops downtown.
