I am so impressed by my entire experience with Garen and Khoren at Ritz jewelers - we brought in a ring passed down four generations for resizing and restoration just yesterday. Not only were they able to resize and refinish it to perfection in about an hour, but they were incredibly knowledgeable (been in SF for 30 years if I remember correctly), genuinely exited for us, and took pride in the small task of helping us with our ring. They gave us the star treatment (although they are the real movie stars - ask Khoren) and we could not be happier!!

I have taken my watch to approximately a half dozen places throughout the city to repair my watch band. (Its an older model and the manufacturer only carries new bands sporadically.) Each time the band holds up for about 6 months, then its time to replace select parts again. The first time I took the band in, it was repaired within two hours and he wouldnt even take my money! Not only did he perform the work for free, but its held up for substantially longer than other shops in the city. Would recommend/10.

If youre cool, you go to Ritz -- and put on the Ritz. Garen and Khoren have a movie-star quality. In fact, Khoren has *been* in movies! These two brothers kind of live like movie stars. The *only* cool jeweler in the financial district of San Francisco. Not only do they design jewelry but they can render and re-size collectible pieces. Viz. three rings that they have treated with tender loving care -- gallery pieces designed by Lapponias 20th-century visionary, Bjorn Weckstrom.

Broke my favorite necklace and was in a scramble to find someone to fix it last minute before my flight. Took it to Ritz and they were so friendly and accommodating! Fixed it same day and even polished it for me. The staff is so friendly and not overbearing. They really care about a good customer experience and listen to your needs. Nice to have a friendly face in a very big city! I will definitely be back!

Even though, my wife and I paid more than the price verbally stated before and after arriving for resizing a ring, plus witnessed our referred customer who went for the same thing but with no expense they have deserved three stars in my book.

Went in with a pair of broken sun glasses, a watch with no battery and broken strap. They told me to give them an hour, I come back 90 min later and the gentleman behind the counter says its free of charge. Best place ever!
