I took my 3 year old son for a eye exam in march 2014. I was less than pleased with the exam and the lack of experiance they had to complete this exam for a child of this age.That was the least of my worries when i then ordered and paid for new frames and lenses from this establishment only to receive used frames from the display case not the new ones I was charged for. When i express my conserns to the office manager she didnt deny they were used and was very short and asked if i was going to want a new set of frames. Then it took 2 months to get them only to have them break a month later they stated their was no warrenty and refered me to a eye glass repair shop in rancho only to have them tell me she sold me the wrong size glasses for the age of my son and they over bent the arms to fit his face and they will not be able to warrenty the work either. Buyer be warned this place is a joke and the office manager is less than profesional when dealing with issues that they created. I would not refer this place to my worst enemy. I had not know how bad it was until I took my son again for his exam to a real eye doctor that knew what she was doing. Do your homework before going here.

My daughter is blind and has keratoconus. We were referred to this eye doctor, Susan Sawyer who sees patients at Walmart here in Palm Springs on Ramon Rd. The insurance (IEHP) we found was accepted by the doctor, but she sends prescriptions over to Walmart to be filled, who does not accept IEHP. Now thank goodness we were informed prior to actually going there by a nice desk clerk who was new. I informed the insurance co. about the racket and they were surprised at what was going on. I will be reporting this to the board because it is unethical. Shes getting paid from the insurance knowing full well that Walmart does not accept it for full-filling the lenses. What a sham.

I have been taking my self and my kids to Dr. Sawyer for years. I have always received the best treatment, care, and consideration from all the staff. Dr. Sawyer is a true professional and very kind individual. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for positive experience. Mr. Earl E. Alworth.

This place is closed! Number still works for new location, so beware when you make an appointment. You would think they would let you know they moved!
