The bottom line is that I spend 657.00 on a pair of glasses that lasted two weeks before the plastic pin holding the arm to the socket of the frame broke off. The arm and frame were not broken, they just needed another pin (like a screw) replaced. I brought the glasses into the Tyler Galleria store where I bought them along with the Eye exam and the manager told me that there was nothing they could do. Im not a lab tech but it was obvious that the broken plastic screw just needed to be pushed through and another one inserted. IN short, they cant even service the frames they sell !!! I waited a long time to get glasses and they really ripped me off. I found out that both Wallmart and Target give 1 year warranties included in the price and that the Chomfer 2 frame is only 160.00 and includes a single vision lense. There are also places on line Ive discovered that would charge 113.00 for the same frame. I am calling my insurance company to let then know that lenscrafters did me dirty. They are one of these places that convinces you to buy all this extra stuff that I wont even be able to use because they cant replace the 1 cent screw that holds the glasses together. I should have gone to a more reputable place that doesnt have mall rent to pay and doesnt have sales people on commission versus dedicated optometric professionals who actually care if they took care of you instead of taking care of themselves. I spent a lot of money and took every recommendation they made because it supposedly contributed to the quality of my vision and the longevity of my glasses. They would not honor their warranty (I was told that it was my fault the pin broke and that unlike traditional glasses, this pin could not be replaced. So for 657.00 you dont even get a place that stands behind their products. By the way ... does anyone know if the Oakley brand uses "Made in China" instead of an Oakley logo on their frames ? All I can find is China. This event occurred Jan 14, 2016. Followup - At the same time I received my eyeglass prescription I also got contact prescriptions. In short, after two adjustments I still cannot see clearly and have just given up.

I spent 600+ on my glasses. I went back two days later to tell them that I could not see out of them. They basically told me that I was crazy and just needed the frame adjusted. After getting irritated they suggested that I go back in the next day to have another exam. The lady that helped me took my glasses popped out my lenses really quickly and roughly so she could readjust the frame. I got home that night took them off to clean them and realized that the side NOW had a freaking chip in it!!! If I could see out of the freaking glasses I would have been able to tell them right then and there that they had chipped the lenses!! Im still so mad that they tried to tell me that I am crazy. Ive been wearing glasses since I was 4. I think I know a thing or two about getting a new prescription.

They made my glasses wrong TWICE!! the first time the grade on side was WAY OFF! complaint and they told me tryem out for 24H and if its still bad come back. I couldnt stand it, it was way off I took the glasses to my optometrist and he checked them and told me they were made wrong, went back they made them again and this time the left lens was was darker then the right, tookem back. I WOULD RECOMMEND YOU DOUBLE CHECK THEY MIGHT GET YOUR PRESCRIPTION WRONG!!!!

Came in to fit my glasses, not correct. I sat and waited over an hour before they came and refitted the prescription. Said it would take 7-10 days. Got a voice message with in the hour said it would be ready in an hour, would text me when ready. Didnt hear back. A week or so later stopped by only to find that they did not fix the prescription. Told it would be another week. No thank you wont be coming back here again!

Went in with my four year old and Austin helped us, he was amazing with our son. He was patient and even got our son to wear his glasses out of the store, and he taught him how to put them on without stretching them or touching the lens. He should definitely be recognized by upper management for his skills with children, when I go back I will make sure he is there before I go.

very poor service. Ive ordered hard contact lenses and Ive had to go but solution to put them on because they didnt have any. this happened twice. they order things very late and dont care to notify customers when items arrive.
