More expensive than Amazon AND less customer service. Was given bad advice on which product to buy simply because they had it, not because it would work better for my needs. And of course theres no returns since it was opened already. Ive had multiple interactions with each of the staff there and while each has been a different experience, none of them gave me a reason to come back. In fact, I have left frustrated every time, which had been about 10ish visits. God forbid a pretty woman is in the store, because you wont get acknowledged until she leaves. - This store location offers nothing over purchasing online from Amazon or the larger hobby stores or other local places. I now drive 30-45 minutes to (basically any) other hobby shops. Depending on the type of hobby, each of these were positive experiences. Island Hobbies in Vancouver, Remote Control Hobbies in Portland, and Tammies Hobbies in Beaverton. I found Tammies to be 100 times better for quadcopters and parts / accessories than the Vancouver Hobby Town.

VERY, VERY, DISAPPONTED IN THIS STORE.. we drove 45+ minutes, with the thought of finding a better more friendly, helpful, and in most important unbiais staff...And let me tell you folks, it was all just the opposite experience for myself and my husband. Not only was the 2 staff working this Saturday morning barely with the living, but other then a half hearted " hello" up on entering the store, I myself was very interested in a certain drone they had, but to my avail I stood for over 5 minutes waiting for the guy behind the counter to have a moment, he never acknowledged my presence, and I never got to inquire about it. So instead we leave instead, just to walk out the front doors and there is the SAME guy smoking a cigarette. So I am assuming his priority for today wasnt trying to earn a new client, his NASTY HABIT was more rewarding. Thank you 1 disappointed lady, Vancouver, Washington

Looks like they lost a longtime customer. A few weeks ago I had went in looking for new prop adapters, they had very little, and the few that the guy there gave me were the wrong size. Even after measuring them and double checking the type. I also got a $60 3s LiPo for my quad copter of which Charles told me I could bring back if I had any issues with. Turns out one of the cells died after 3 flights and when I came back with receipt they told me they couldnt return or swap it out, because they couldnt guarantee if I had charged it correctly or not. They also told me Charles wouldnt have told me that I could come back with it as well. Even though he clearly told me Save yourself some money and just go to Amazon..

Walked in excited but naive to the R/C world given I just recently got into R/Cs. I first thing let the guy that helped me know I was new to it. However, I wasnt aware that apparently just because you are new to the hobby, to these douche bags, you arent worth their time and are rudely asked rhetorical questions and treated as though you are stupid. Just curious, how many of you know it all douche bag snarky little fat asses still live with your parents? Thought so. How many cumulative P.H.D.s do all of us have together? 1 and its none of you idiots. Keep walking around on that virtual reality high horse your on but remember to take off the fpv goggles when dealing with real people you ignoramuses.

The parking situation here isnt great. The store has a decent selection of general hobby items, with a heavy emphasis on rc cars. There is also a good selection of plastic models and rc aircraft, some toys and hobby tools. The prices arent horrible for a retail location, definitely higher than online offerings but that is par for the course. The people are friendly and knowledgeable. Overall its a solid mid sized hobby store. Definitely not the plastic model selection Bridgestone hobbies has, nor the size of some of the larger stores in Spokane and Seattle but good for most project needs. Doesnt have much in the way of metal miniatures or railroad stuff.

Giving it 1 star because I cant give it any less...if you arent going there for RC cars you will be horribly disappointed and they wont give you much of their time. I went there for a starter n scale model railroad and their selection was ALMOST non-existent and what they had was very overpriced their ho scale model railroad section wasnt much better. I asked if they had anything else cheaper and they wouldnt look or refer me to anywhere else who would being as I am new in town and they started looking for someone else to wait on who was after RC car stuff. I do RC cars too but I wont be coming to THIS store for any of my needs in that hobby either

Very helpful and will try to acomadate you as much as possible with what you need just like most hippy shops the stock usually isnt gonna be exactly what you want but we are am different and like different things so you can never expect any hippy shop to have "everything" you want but can order it. Of course you could order on line yourself but that leaves you with the issue of am I gonna have support for this product. Dave on the aviation side of things is very helpful needed some plugs made for a "quad copter" board he was very helpful in assistance with that helped me make what I needed very quick

The so called MANAGER of this store Chuck. Every time we come in there he is absolutely rude. We have bought multiple RC trucks here and whenever we come he is unhelpful and rude. He has wasted our time and made us never want to come back to this store again. Even if its a drive for you. Go to the hobby town on 82nd ave in portland oregon. They will treat you better and they wont sell you stuff you dont need and will treat you with respect and knowledge. This Chuck at this hobby town is a disgrace to rc specialist and lovers and he shouldnt be in this business. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!

I went into get a set of vanquish products axels for my wraith. Parts on the shelf. Good. Go to purchase the axels and the sales man talked me into a set of axial parts the kit version . because they have more angle than rtrs and should work with my CKRC SIUSIDE SWITCH stearing kit. they are not what Im really needed(or asked for) . Now i have 2 sets of axels that doesnt have enough turn angle to run my CKRC SIUSIDE SWITCH stearing kit. And now i have to buy the vanquish products set as i started out but down $50. Now my vp step will cost $150 instead of $99 you got me . Dave

This is a great little store that is in a convenient location compared to other shops on the area. They have a decent selection of popular selling rc models, from planes, helis to cars, etc. They have a good Supply of replacement parts for the models they stock and are always willing g to help. Dave is a great guy and is always willing to check availability on parts and goes above and beyond to locate hard to find parts and helps to find solutions. If your a flyer, see Dave. Best service around, hands down
