so i just came from another visit with Lynn at Mystic and it dawned on me that i have been trusting her to work on me for 10 years now,following her from Lucky Devil in Seattle to Mystic in Mukilteo. and im going to tell you the reasons why : ~EXPERTISE : i have observed her with 1st-timers,taking the time to explain how and why certain things work or do not work with some people in contrast to others,ensuring she will do the right thing for her clients while sticking to the wishes of their original ideas.an important balance. she clearly has the experience,knowledge and artistry to back up her work. ~COMMUNICATION : i have been to other artists over the past 20 years.believe me,it is NOT always easy to hear back from them or set up an appointment.Lynn has always been quick to respond and get me in asap,whether she was at her long-time home at Lucky Devil or out at her new place,in a new town,at Mystic. ~PERSONA : anyone here have trust issues?? well,I do.i find it difficult to let ANYbody near me(let alone someone with a sharp,electric,buzzing instrument ; ))...from even my first session with Lynn, i was able to let my guard down because she is laid-back,nonjudgemental and UNpretentious.these are important traits for me to find in an artist.i dont need you to imply how much cooler you are than i am just because you are an experienced tattoo artist and i am just an everyday,normal,boring human with zero creative,artistic or coolness skills---i need you to express your passion in the craft and if you want to throw in some great conversation,expressing your passions in life too,go for it! for me,there is an extremely therapeutic aspect to getting inked.Lynn understands this and always makes me comfortable with her "table-side" manner. ~i have recommended her to a slew of other friends who always leave there thanking ME for how awesome Lynns work is and how great an experience it was,and in turn,recommend their friends.thats how it works,kids. SO,i figured it was time for a shout out.Hats Off to You,Lynn! See You Next Time!

I took my grand daughter here to get her first tattoo and was very impressed with how clean the shop was and how attentive and knowledgeable the artist was. She got a beautifully shaded rose on her shoulder.

Pathetic! If you want a good tattoo, dont bother seeing Chris at Mystic Tattoo. My 4 year old could have done a better job. Black lines only and they are bleeding terribly. Learn from my mistake.
