Walked in, found just what I need at a fair price, well,but at this point after exhausting all of hermistons possibilities of getting brick of coco coir(a plant substrate) a pet stores reptile supplies 45min. From home are the last place to look. But they did me well, walking in 5 min. B4 close.... didnt rush, he helped. Good employees.The gentleman closing the store, or at least the register and front door... on thu. June15th... patiently came back and grabbed a pair of clown loaches (whom I already love in my tank) and they are very happy in their new super clean bigger tank. A present to myself for getting a 30 gallon rehabbed from a crazy bad algae disaster-6hrs. Of work, bad. The guy recommended a couple communal fish he liked, "mickey mouse" platy, I think. I Was with my mom, she loved em, had to get a pair. Theyre a great addition. Very cute and friendly. Remind me to never over feed algae tabs to a tank of plecos in direct sunlight when your main fluval is down, and youre lazy. It gets bad. Fast.

I bought a koi from them. A week later it died. I had put it in my tank inside so it could grow a bit bigger before putting it in my pond. So I learned I could get another free if a fish died within 2 weeks of purchasing. So I un-buried my fish to find it eaten my a stray cat. I found my receipt though and was able to get my free koi. But with in 2 days (this time I put it straight into my pond. It died!! Never getting my fish from them. I now go through craigslist and have gotten 6 kois for free and they all have lived. I do buy my cat supplies from them and my fish supplies. I am not sure where they get their kois but I suggest not buying them at petco. Everything else is okay.. if you need supplies for tanks or ponds.

Its okay I mean Ive been there quite a few times the Petco card doesnt really help much as far as words go but the difference is that you get a different pricing when you utilize that card then the pricing that sometimes left it so thats about the only real benefit of it Ive never been able to redeem Reward Points through Petco customer service is typically on point but when youre looking for something theres not really that much stuff that you can go Hey wheres this or Im looking for this so that. This is tanking point but otherwise its a pretty good place little bit more expensive sometimes on depending upon the item that you bought which is expected but at the same time it also does suck

We were so embarrassed by the manager of the grooming dept. We had been taking our animals there for over a year and brought them in and she stated that one of our dogs had ringworm. Had a fit and bleached the whole area...Well if she had looked, our dog has a skin disease that she got from her mother and will always have to some degree...this information is in their computer...she was very unprofessional and we will not bring our dogs back to this store to be groomed.

Was completely ignored by all seven store associates. Brought my kitty in to get her a new harness as she has grown out of hers. No one would help me find one that would fit, we were ignored and passed quite often, they also gathered by their office door and I flagged them down, while three of them gave me eye contact NONE of them came to help me. Very disappointed, and this harness will probably be returned if it doesnt work.

I know it seems like just another pet store, but the staff makes this Petco pretty dang awesome. They know their animals, they care for them, and they want the best people + pet match. Just speak with the staff and they will work great with you.
