It is my goal, in this review to change the attitude of the staff and possibly management, but if theyre making money hand over fist, they wont care what I have to say... so here goes: Is it par for the course of all food co-ops to have pretentious employees who appear to hate their job and You for walking through the door? Sadly, this one is no exception...(honestly the only exception Ive found is the Cordata st co-op in Bellingham) This place does gets an extra star for managing to be a co-op in Everett for as long as its been able to maintain, even through the building fire several years ago. That said, I agree very much with many of the reviewers here, (except 5 star ratings, these are so obviously planted reviews now-a-days I hope no one takes a couple sentence 5* seriously, thats not a review thats a ballot stuffer). Ive been going to the co-op for almost a decade now and while the quality and prices stayed pretty consistent (be that good or bad, as the case may be), the help really doesnt seem like any of them enjoy their job outside of 2 or 3 long timers. But the trend is getting worse, I canceled my membership because I found myself never wanting to go there to shop while tolerating the scowls and poor attitude of the staff. Maybe Im just running in to all the rude ones. I just recently started shopping there again out of necessity, because I now require a specialty diet thats just so much easier to obtain at a co op. I do miss the friendlier staff from previous years. Again my intent was not to insult, but to motivate the staff to not only care about the product, but the customer as well...If this doesnt work, Oh well, the drive to the WHOLEFOODS market in millcreek has been more tempting as of late.

The kindness of those who work there is wonderful. Even if they are new they will go out of their way to help you by answering questions about a product. If they dont know they will let their manager know you need some assistance. While they are not doctors but are pretty well read, they cannot diagnose nor give a medical opinion as to what brand of Probiotics will work best for you, for instance. But they are there to help you, and they are very good listeners. I have never been disappointed with any product or food I have bought there. And besides, they do have some books for sale which can help you educate yourself on a variety of subjects. If you think their prices seem to be on the high side, remember you arent buying anything that isnt top quality. Everything is fresh, hormone and antibiotic free. You get what you pay for, and it isnt that expensive. I love Sno-Isle Food Co-op and you can find almost anything you are looking for. I went there because I wanted fresh, organic honey straight from a local bee-keeper. And that was exactly what I was able to buy there along with several other things on my list. What a wonderful place!!!

I read the customer reviews which kept me away for quite awhile, however my need for local food closer than Seattles farmers markets made me give it a try. I gotta say....I love this co-op!! Each time I go in (sometimes 3 times a week because I like to buy as needed) the people who work there are extremely friendly! The other night my husband and I were walking around, arms loaded and one of the girls brought me a basket. Another went running to the back to find me something to scoop out my bulk food items! The selection is mind blowing, I usually spend a hour browsing and usually dont leave without spending a pretty penny, but thats worth it to me!

This is a great co-op. They have an excellent deli and a good selection of organics and local options. The produce is fresh, great dairy and cheese, excellent breads and there is a good selection. The co-op is a non-profit and local. This is a huge plus. It means that the co-op is invested in Washington unlike Whole Foods. Buy Local and Think Global! it makes a difference. Best grocery store in Everett.

Ive lived in Everett for 10 years and been going to the coop about the same. It seems they hire the same unfriendly staff over and over. I mean seriously these people are RUDE, I dont know if I dont look hippie enough to shop in there store or what, but there is one thing that hasnt changed in the past 10 years and its their crappy attitudes, Id say move over Co-op here comes Trader Joes!!!!

I like shopping here as a conscious consumer. They have organic, local produce and goods. They also have a small deli and that is also the reason I shop here. However, I suggest that before you are done with your shopping here, be sure to check your bag because Ive had the cashiers/baggers forget to include items Ive bought and have also had other customers items put in my bag.

Given Everetts population, we should have a bigger and better co-op, there really is no excuse. Mount Vernon and even tiny Sedro Wooley have far better co-ops. Sno-Isle has made an effort to improve in the past few years, with a decent remodel and actually hiring some more outgoing personalities. For years it was just depressing going in there, but its gotten much better.

Great place, fab products, smells wholesome, like a small town grocery store where I grew up. cannot afford to grocery shop there... :(. cant imagine anyone in the poverty level could get past the front door, but I cant spare the stars for that reason alone. local and organic just come with a high price. if your money is funny you gatta stick to the big name stores.

Love the people who work here, theyre friendly and easy to talk to and very knowledgeable as well. Its hard to find people who care about where they work and who care about their customers too. I wish I could shop here exclusively but some of the products are pricey (and I get why) so I need to buy them elsewhere. I still shop here when I can.

I ordered a Turkey sandwich and it had 1 slice of packed turkey and 1 slice of cheese on normal bread. It was served with a few stale corn chips and it was $11.00. I feel totally robbed! Thats not even cool from a store like that. Eleven dollars will buy a good amount of food at most places not just 1 slice of processed turkey. LAME!

I love this co-op. I became a member when I moved here a little over a year ago. Prices on day-to-day items can be a little high, although all of the conscious shopping work is done for me and generally Im happy to pay a little more for sustainable/organic/etc. The bulk selection here is wonderful, and I frequent the juice bar.

Pretty good area, good parking. The Coop itself has a good selection, I specially like theyre both section. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly... And they give great tours! Do not ask to go to the bathroom there unless its an emergency. It is a long walk... I got lost going there, thats how long it is.

Love this store! Lots of local options, even local milk and honey. I went the first time today after reading the reviews, but like others I had no problem with the staff or the prices. Prices seemed comparable to anywhere else, and the staff was nice. Will definitely be back!
