Pawn shops are pawn shops. I went in to AmeriPawn to sell my guitar. The offer was very low. They guy I talked to has mastered the "PawnTalk." Hes good at his job as he should be. Underneath that was a real person though. I dont think he was low balling me because he wanted to. The offer was pretty much predetermined before I walked in. He knew the offer too low. So he offered me two alternatives. He told me Guitar Center pays more for guitars. He also gave me directions. I went. They do pay more. Second suggestion was a small loan. Pay it back, get guitar back. I wanted to keep my guitar. Cash Strapped for about a week so I needed the money. Second option let me do both. The people that work there seem to be good people. I would recommend

this place used to be well priced back in the day when I used to shop here for used items now they are trying to sell used items the same as new items I can buy out the store with a warranty. and they wont even work on the price a bit to me this is a pawn shop people come to pawn shops to save a dollar not to pay full price for used items will not be returning until they get the drift that they are a pawn shop I understand they are a business and need to make money but you rip the person off got it for close to nothing than sell it for full price as if I were buying it brand new hope this place gets it together its a shame I used to like this place

Trying to purchase a receiver and the guy wouldnt allow me to plug it up and scan through the features. I took it upon myself to hook it up to a corner socket and either there was no electricity or the receiver was broke. When I asked why there wasnt power to the back wall plug, guy at counter very condescendingly told me I didnt know how pawn shops worked (?whatever that meant) Grew up hanging around the midlo flea market, I almost never shop outside pawn shops and thrift stores today, however this one lost my business for life. Dont support businesses like this, go pawn your stuff somewhere else, lots of alternatives in and out of the city.

Horrible Pawn shop!!! The ethics of the owners absolutely disgust me. I pawned a $5000.00 watch i bought new and borrowed 300 hundred dollars to pay a bill. I paid the bill the next day and received my watch back. a month later i needed another 300 and hocked it once again. Thirty dollars was my monthly payment and I waited a few months before returning top pay my loan. Nice surprise.. The owners of course kept it for $300 stinking dollars. Not a phone call as courtesy to reminding me to pay them. This was my first pawn shop experience and I was unaware the payment had to be made. What a horrible business. I would never do anybody like that.

AmeriPawn is the best, Friendly service, Fun to deal with and great selection. I have bought several things from them over the past few years and have always had great customer service. The old guy behind the counter is very friendly and a pleasure to work with, hes like everyones grandpa. The short asian fellow is also great. I went in honestly not expecting much. You know, like really dirty or whatnot, bad inventory, ect. Needless to say, i went in expecting the worst. Once i walked in though i was pretty surprised. It was very spacious and very well organized. They had a little but of everything it seemed, and very good quality items. I talked to one guy, who was real friendly. I will be returning.

Dealt with Steven H. who was both knowledgeable and professional.Very caring individual.Had the feeling during both of my transactions with Steven that this was a professional company and not some "give us a chance and we will rip you off" outfit. Would highly recommend to anyone needing temporary help.

Bought a used Fender Jazzmaster and vintage Peavey amplifier from a Gentleman named Bruce! Excellent customer service, great selection, and wonderful prices! I have never had this good of an experience at a pawn shop before, and the staff is always so friendly and helpful. 5 STARS!

I wish i could go lower than 1. These people provided awful customer service made fun of the peuduct i was trying to sell and over all were terrible people. I would never go here for anything weather it be to buy or sell.
