Having had a negative experience from buying a car with a rental history from a private seller, I was very reluctant to look much into Enterprise Car Sales. However, I spent at least 50 hours over a couple weeks researching several types of vehicles that I was interested in buying from various dealerships and private sellers. I found the pricing very competitive and reviews of Enterprise car sales very positive. The 109 point vehicle check was legitimate from my experience. In fact, during the 7-day repurchase agreement we heard an unfamiliar noise in the back of the car which Enterprise paid to reinspect at a Firestone near me. Turns out it was just a loose tire jack. The mechanic said the vehicle was in top notch shape. It also helps that Enterprise provides a 12-month/12,000 mile warranty which doesnt appear to inflate the price of the car like at other dealerships. You might get a paltry 3 day buyback and/or 3-month/3,000 mile warranty elsewhere. I despise processing fees, but the $199 processing fee seems reasonable given the car pricing is very competitive. In my research, theres a local dealership that charges a $699 processing fee AND $369 total loss protection (gap insurance) - both are just outrageous. If the pricing is competitive, depending on how you finance your vehicle you should not have to pay the latter or at least have a choice. Its important to keep this in mind, otherwise, that good deal is not so good once all the fees are stacked into the price. An extra bonus was I was given a favorable amount my old trade in, plus a promotion through my credit union added another $750 - which exactly doubled the value on my old car! Another added value is that some vehicles can be transferred for free or at a low cost, which expands your search. Our vehicle was transferred free from Richmond. They let me test drive the vehicle the first day, and they held the car until the next day so that my wife could test drive, too. During the test drive the salesperson spotted a small crack in the windshield, and he arranged for it to be replaced the next day. There was no pressure from the sales staff. Everyone from beginning to end was extremely helpful and friendly. We got the vehicle we were looking for at a very competitive price in top notch condition. I could not ask much more of a better outcome. Although I was reluctant before, I would now highly recommend Enterprise Car Sales. Ask for John, Gregg, or Santos at the Norfolk location. Tommy and Irvin are very helpful at closing. All are extremely nice professionals. The competitive, no haggle pricing really takes the sales pressure away. But I do advise you to have a good idea of what you want for a car and your high/low budget limit Know how you will finance (if you do not have the cash), and in addition to your own experience research the history of the make and model to give yourself a gauge of whether or not you might really need to buy more warranty. Follow this advice and you should be happy with your purchase wherever you choose to purchase.

The buying experience and their process are excellent. Theres no bargaining on price which eliminates a lot of adversarial dealings. I traded in a car & their appraisal via Kelly Blue Book was very similar to the NADA Blue Book price so no problem there. My disappointments were associated with the following: 1. I saw a 2012 Cadillac CTS-A on their website. Great price. Car was located in Newport News. I filled out the questionair on the website and was contacted by the salesman the following day. He asked what I was interested in & I told him. He said no problem, the car would be brought over from NN for me to see the next day at 10 am & that he would call me later that pm. I had not heard from him by 5pm & since they close at 5:30 I called him & he told me he was ready to call me because the car I liked had been bought that same day by someone in NJ & was unavailable. However, he had other cars I might be interested in so I decided to keep the appointment & ultimately purchased a car. The only reason I mention this is because that same Cadillac was on their web site as available for a week after it was supposedly sold. I dont know how often the website is updated, but the term "Bait & Switch" entered my mind. 2. My last disappointment was associated with the lack of maintenance data available on the Carfax report for the vehicle I bought. I was interested in knowing when the tires had last been rotated & the engine oil & filter changed. The sales rep said the oil & filter had been changed during the vehicle prep & that the Carfax reflected what ever maintenance data was available. Well, the oil & filter had not been changed. The engine oil life indication was 50% remaining. Now I dont know if the the prep was supposed to include an oil change & there was a disconnect or the sales rep was feeding me a line to get me out the door. Have no idea when the tires had been last rotated.

I wouldnt even rate this place with 1 star if this site didnt make u put at least one. I went to purchase a car from this company the day before Halloween because my aunt works for enterprise (in another state) and said it was a good idea. The gentleman Kevin Smith, who helped me find the car for me was very helpful and great. He is the only one who even deserves any praise. Through every issue I went through with this company he was very helpful and always so nice about things. However, his other co-workers, Jared, an Micah were the least helpful an actually down right rude. After finally receiving my car on November first I drove it until January. Throughout that time I was asked multiple times to come back in and resign paperwork, or send them new paperwork etc. I was also told the deal was finalized and everything finished on New Years Eve. Then however 2 weeks later was contact stating I needed to return the car because the deal was no longer finalized and the lenders dont approve the loan they had already approved. After asking for my trade in back and being told they sold it (which by policy I was told they could not do) they offered me 1000 dollars and wanted me to be on my way. After being screwed over by this company multiple times over a 4 month period I contacted a lawyer. At which point they got me back my trade in. They asked I return the car but after them already towing my car and leaving me with no way to get to work. It took them 4 days to return my personal belongings inside the car. I will NEVER go to enterprise for anything again. This was the worst experience Ive ever had to deal with and the worst possible senecio possible for purchasing my first car. If you decide to get help from them, I highly recommend KEVIN SMITH, as for he is the only one who treated me with respect and had any professionalism at all!!
