Purchased a whirlpool fridge at the end of January 2017. 1. Fridge came with a dent on the right side door. they told me, have to order a new door. 2. Two months later the door arrived and was install by the geek squad in which at the time they split the door seal while removing it. Two week later found the door was leaking cold air between both doors. I tried to call the store, but their phone system just gave me the run around, I JUST COULDNT GET HOLD OF A PERSON!!!! I drove to the store with my damaged door seal. The manager ordered a new one. 3. Six weeks later I received a door seal in a cardboard box. I opened the box and found the door seal in a knot with the edges all rippled, so again I drove to the store, as I couldnt get anyone one phone. The manager removed a door seal from a floor model and gave it to me to install. Three weeks later two guys from the Geek Squad with a Door Seal from Fredericksburg VA came to my house, I told them to come on in and check out my fridge, in which they did. They found the left side door had a large issue, the white plastic inside the left door was bent and distorted causing the two doors not seal correctly and allow cold air leaking. They put in an order in for a new left hand door. The night before they suppose to call you about the delivery, they didnt. I tried to call someone at Best buy again, the phone system sucks you just cant get anyone to talk to anymore. CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!!!!! If my door dont turn up tomorrow between 8-10am I will be going back to the store again as you cant get a person on the phone. Finally I received a call from the Geek Squad in Fredericksburg and was told me hell be there in two hours to replace the LH door. He arrived with a door and installed it, while installing it he told me he went to the store where I purchased the fridge and remove it from a floor model. Thats what you call customer service, Best Buy of Midlothian!! After 7 months the fridge is now perfect all because of Dave Chappell form Fredericksburg VA. Good Job Dave.

Ok, one of my first jobs was with Best Buy. I have to say without a doubt avoid this place if possible. Go to target, Walmart, pretty much anywhere. My father and mother in law purchased an $800 Samsung HD tv from Best buy on July 2, 2017 from this Best buy in Brandermill, Chesterfield, Va. My father and mother speak English as a second language immigrating from Poland years ago. They paid cash. They took the TV home where it sat undisturbed for roughly two weeks while waiting on the kindness of a younger neighbor to help mount it. They installed and the TV did not work. It was defective. They had not dropped it. They went back to best buy and were promptly told they could not be helped. The best buy folks said that the TV was past the return date....BY TWO DAYS! Evidently there is a 15 day return policy which my retired in laws should have familiarized themselves with. They were told that they probably yanked it out of the box. They were given a demonstration by customer service for the PROPER removal as if they were completely clueless. Then they told my family that they should have CHECKED it BEFORE they left the best buy. My in laws have been to two Best Buys and several trips, tried Samsung to help them with no avail. Quite frankly, this is awful behavior for a company like Best buy to exhibit. In my life, I have written exactly ONE bad review because I used to work at a company like this and understand mistakes happen. They were not able to meet with the general manager. They have been told too bad, so sad... So essentially, because they were two days AFTER their 15 day return policy, "Sorry they cant help, but we have a policy." People this is disgusting and I hope you never shop here again.

Recommendation: I would not recommend anyone go to this location unless they know what they are looking for and where it is located within the store. Reason: Service has been on downward spiral for some time now. Associates and Management, alike, lack the initiative to help their customers. They would rather not help and not make money versus helping customers a making a lot of money. Bluntly, the Customer Service and Professionalism is a "JOKE". They just do not care enough to make things happen for customers that are coming to them to spend hard earned money. For the service or lack there of, that I received today 3/8/2013, I find hard to think in the future this store will get any better. I feel strongly that the leadership that is place is not taking strides toward building better business nor do they care to service the industries customers which is a profession and responsibility they have chosen. If Best Buy Corporate does not take strides to improve this situation BB will be on the verge of Bankruptcy again in the near future. I say this because it only takes a couple of bad seed to spoil the bunch.. and I know this store is not the only store that customers are having issues with and I am not the only customer treated like my business does not matter. Only time will tell, but you chose how you spend your money. I can tell you with confidence I will not throw Good Money to Bad Money, it just dont make sense. I can buy the same products elsewhere , cheaper in some cases, its the Service that sets you apart...

I purchased an Asus G750 laptop with windows 8 on it from these folks. I then purchased a copy of Crysis 3 from these folks. Then I proved to them that the game was in fact incompatible with the laptop because the mouse cursor would disappear entirely upon starting the game. I went to telephone/chat support for all three companies- Origin (crysis), Asus, and Best Buy- In the end, the tech support folks for the video game said it was most likely a drive issue, and to Return The Game To The Retailer From Whom I Purchased It. I had this conversation over top of the laptop running the broken game- "I would like a refund for this game, it doesnt work.", "Its our policy not to issue returns on opened software"," Sir, obviously I cannot play a game that has no mouse pointer, therefore, its broken- I want my money back", "Sir, Im not claiming the game is functioning correctly, I am explaining to you that we do not issue refunds on opened software" Origin claims they have no way to issue a refund on a game not purchased directly from them, and I believe them. They have offered to verify their desire for a refund for me in any way that Best Buy would like- however, they will not refund my money. Best But thinks that I should have to pay a thirty dollar tax for a game I cannot play, over a laptop they sold me that clearly has quality control issues with regard to its display driver. Lesson learned.... lots of folks sell both laptops and video games.

My experience has been terrible- took my lap top in to be fixed. Paid 70 for the diagnostic test, i received a call and said my device was fixed ( about 12 calls) went in and waited for 40min to be told my device was not fixed after the technician plugged it in and realized it still had the same issue. 4 days later got another call to say my device was fixed, picked my children up from daycare and took them with me - guy plugged my device in and was informed it is not working - left my device for a second time. Got a call this morning that my device is finally fixed i am going to see if they are still wasting my time, At this point i am terribly upset because i have wasted my time and energies and not to mention the inconvenience caused by me going to the store waiting and being told "we apologize" that is not good enough for a well established. I was only offered 20 % off a wireless mouse and a reduction in the cost of tech support. ABSOLUTELY not professional and will not take another device there.
