I placed a birthday cake order on the 29 March 2017. Went to Herndon, Va store today at 2:15pm to pick it up. Was told by manager there was no record of my order. I had written confirmation with me. They luckily had a blank ice-cream cake available. Asked what the message should be, and what color icing - either blue or red. I said blue. Manager then took cake out the back and came back and said she meant to say green and red icing. I chose red. Whilst waiting with my son, whose birthday it was, we were not offered free ice-cream as an apology, nor or told how long it would take. When cake was completed it was handed over the counter without any apology. At no time during this discourse was an apology given from the time she said they had no record of the order to when the cake was handed over the counter.

Founders Fav is considered to be the one of the best ice creams ever and is my fav ice cream too. Unfortunately, the founders fav mixed at this facitliy doesnt seem to be up to the standards in terms of taste. I was really disappointed yesterday when I bought this flavor at this location. This advice is for the management : Please taste founders fav at a different location and compare it from yours. You may need to better train your staff to keep up the great taste when they mix these signature flavours.The guy who mixed it in front me made a half pint of the mix and tried to fill the rest with bear cream(with out any mix) just to fill up the bowl. I asked him to mix it well and he was lazy to do that.

I checked Coldstones website and they advertise 50+ flavors of lowfat frozen yogurt. This location had one purple flavor that looked like crap. Fail.

Cold stone as a chain is typically expensive, but this location makes extrordinarily good ice cream even considering the price tag
