The store has a wide selection of foods and the quality is high, but the service is terrible. The store depends heavily on its self-checkout and express lanes, and rarely has more than one or two cashier checkout lanes open. This is fine if you just want to run in for a few items, but if you have a cartful of groceries and are by yourself (i.e. no one to to bag for you at the self checkout lane) then the wait at the one or two cashier lanes can equal the time it took you to shop through the store and fill your cart. They are often 3-4 carts deep, and of course only people with full carts are using them. I have had much better experiences at stores that bother to open lanes for people who are doing more serious shopping and would still like to get out of the store in a timely manner. Its killing me that this really is the store closest to my house by a longshot, but I have started making occasional trips to other stores near my workplace just because doing a weeks worth of shopping in this store takes so much precious time.

For the last few years this Giant store’s customer service has been horrible; totally incompetent! Imagine allowing their employees to insult customers at any time. For example, my son, 37 y.o., was visiting us from Europe a few months ago. He went to this Giant to buy a pack of cigarettes. The customer service representative (Victor) demanded his ID or passport. My son came home, got his passport and my husband drove him back to the Giant store. But when they came to the customer service desk and showed the passport Victor turned his back on them and walked away silently like they did not even exist. What unbelievable rudeness! After that misery, my husband and son drove to Harris Teeter to buy the cigarettes. Does the manager of this Giant store REALLY care that their customer service treats people like trash? Never go to this Giant! Go to Safeway or Harris Teeter instead. At least they respect customers and will never insult you personally.

Absolute wonderful Super market. THE BEST but..................... This company has their head up their ass. My complaint BAGS My local dollar store has much better grocery bags I am so sick of of their short and flimsy bags. Its obvious all Giant wants is the sale and COULD CARE LESS about ANYTHING BUT PROFIT Once you are out the door , they dont care about products CONSTANTLY falling out of bags and especially when you carry the bags from the car into your home. The bags have holes in just about 20% of the bags & I am so sick of breaking eggs, or jars when they break and hit the driveway So I decided to try out Shop Rite and was delighted to find MUCH CHEAPER PRICES & wonderfully strong and big bags. Im writing this e-mail to let you know of my experience at the Giant Store (#0762) at Town Center Plaza. One of your employes, Diep Ngoc Tran, is a very friendly, professional, and competent person who is very pleasant to deal with. When she sees me she always inquires about how things are going and asks if she can be of assistance. Ive noticed she is this way with others, as well. She has gone out of her way to help. I cant say enough nice things about her. She always makes the Giant experience more enjoyable when Ive been there. Please keep her at this store! Shes a joy to be around.

Beautiful supermarket. Wide variety of food. The lines are rarely long and if they are it usually moves very fast. Two people roving around to remedy the self service isles. I go there at least twice a week (if not more). The only gripe I have is that they never have Texas toast, its always sold out seems like. The employees are very helpful and most all of them seem to know exactly where things are. If asked you get more than the generic answer of "isle 11" they also tell you if its front, middle, or rear of the isle and which side its on.

And this Giant continues its woes! A few days ago I was buying groceries and decided to use a coupon for paper towels. I gave my credit card and the coupon to the cashier at the cash register and he stared at me like I was the world’s largest loser because of that coupon! Excuse me! Do your job and serve the customer you $8/hour loser! Management needs to pay more attention to this nonsense.

Self-service checkout wont take shopper card because the overnight software update still not complete at 830am. Display says "press pay cashier button, which isnt on the display when it tells you to do this. I am the worst cashier at Giant and I cant get them to fire me.

This giant is very clean and well stocked. The staff is polite and helpful. Produce (veggies specifically) is sometimes a little sad and the cereal aisle almost always smells awful for some reason. Overall a great location though.

Gaint is a place wheres theres good and everything else besides clothes and electronics but theres stuff for electronics, but this place is great Ive been coming here for so many days I suggested u to come to gaint~Sarah

The floors were sticky. So much so that you made noise every time you walked on them. the food was okay but hey its Taco Bell. Would I go back again probably not. No stars are rated for this place they dont deserve it.

Tried to call multiple times for any information. Finally, went to pharmacy pharmarcist were rude and unpersonable. Went to another pharmacy and was served within an hour. Dont go here.
