I dont know how this spot doesnt already have more Google reviews, but Im glad to be the first! Admittedly, we overlooked this little gem for quite a long time, despite living very nearby. Its tucked back, behind main street (Rt. 2) Waterbury, inside the Amtrak station. Let that not be a deterrent. In fact, this is part of the appeal. In our age of classic, inspiring old public buildings going to waste (this has been happening to great train stations for far longer than the current time period, but..) at the hands of the demolition crews, Green Mountain Coffee Roasters residence in this building serves a dual purpose: providing a great cafe/visitor center, and preserving a golden age train station in Vermont. The staff is well trained and courteous. Great job, and keep up the great work!

These guys are clearly experts at making coffee. I have been an expert at drinking it for over 30 years. It would likely come as little surprise then if I said that I have tried a lot of kinds of coffee within that time. I have to admit that I have met my match. I still have not tried all of Green Mountain Coffees kinds of coffee. I dont mean flavors, even though they have plenty of those, but flavor is easy. I mean kinds. I am bound and determined to try all of the kinds of coffee. I hear that the best in the world is from Jamaica...grown only on this one mountain...and only on one side of the mountain. They call it Jamaican Blue Mountain. And Green Mountain Coffee Roasters has this kind for sale. I WILL try this coffee!

Delivered a load of coffee bean to the plant down the street. Most pleasant customer Ive ever delivered to. Sat at the train station after delivery and had a great coffee" which is hard to find in a big truck" a nice pastry read the newspaper and just enjoyed the fresh air and scenery. Driver manager couldnt figure out why I wasnt in a hurry to leave. Would definitely recommend this as a stop for any travelers in the area. Vermont is such a beautiful state

We used to visit every time we passed through the east coast, and every time it was a great coffee shop with discount bulk beans, and great products. Unfortunately now, it is a basic coffee shop, nothing special other than the beautiful historic train depot its located in. The coffee is not great, and with the re-branding from Green Mountain, to Kurig Green Mountain, the focus is less on quality, than on plastic containers and convenience.

A must stop for coffee lovers. This is high quality coffee for good prices. I had a maple latte- and I dont like a lot of sweet or strong chemical flavors that you usually get in one of these. I can honestly say- It was GREAT! Being from Portland- I consider myself a coffee snob. This place will not disappoint. Its located in an old train station with plenty of seating to relax and take in the beautiful surroundings.

The coffee and pastries were delicious. The free samples were a nice touch and the staff was helpful. The center also offered some history and suggestion of places to visit when in the area. We came as tourists the first day but as customers the next. Also my wife says do yourself a favor and try the maple supreme with blueberry coffee.

I have to admit I knew nothing about this company other than Ive seen them in grocery stores. I was passing through and saw it as a place to see. I pulled in to grab some coffee. They have a lot of information on the walls educating you about their product. I was impressed with their facility. Glad I took time today.

Stopped here on our rambles home and talked with a woman who helped point us in the right direction. She suggested we take the Lincoln pass over the mountain for the best views. She was right! So well done excellent advise.

Great coffee from the company, but really frustrating when the front doors are locked 5 minutes before close. Not the way to treat customers. Post different business hours if youre going to close early on a regular day.

This is a "red neck" version of a coffee shop. Stick with simple drinks and its not bad. Dont ask them to figure out a Latte or anything like that. It actually quite comical. Whatever you get its never the same twice.

Excellent maple-infused coffee drinks and a nice visitors center, but would have been great to have someone there explicitly to teach people about Green Mountain. Staff was there only to run the cafe.

Recently expanded seating area makes it an excellent place to get some work done or catch up with a friend. Great service, great products - I highly recommend trying a maple supreme!

Display area is free and informative on the company but not much there other then that. Cafe serves coffee, go figure and sells coffee but nothing else.
