When we lived in South Salt Lake we had gone to this liquor store and I remember one of the times I stayed in the car and it was just chaotic in the parking lot. Lots of stumbling around in the parking lot to shakes and who knows what. It could have just been a whole lot of nuts the time I was there not so sure. The angry orchids my husband bought were super pricey but he got them anyway because that was what I asked for. Im used to them being way cheaper in California and not having such a high tax. This isnt my closest liquor store anymore so I enjoy others more but if this is your local one Im sure youll be fine. Parking lot gets jam packed though!

As I write this I have to wonder what is the point of reviewing a state owned and controlled monopoly? There are no customers to please, only heathen citizen patrons. The theocratic legislature doesnt care about citizens who drink and would sooner bring back prohibition than refrigerate the beer they sell to citizen patrons. Dont bring anyone with you if they dont have ID because even if your friend is clearly of age, and they arent purchasing anything themselves, they will turn you away if anyone is with you at checkout without ID. Welcome to Communist Utah.

Utah uses its governmental powers to oppress and swindle the drinking public. They charge astronomically-marked-up pricing and then make it illegal to bring booze in from out of state. Do they pay more than other states for their supplies? Absolutely not. Its a monopoly set in place to create profits on the backs of those who do not share the misbegotten values of the religious majority.

This location is always busy. Why cant we have more than one liquor store in WVC? The lines are always long and the selection is average. Its in a somewhat hard to reach location. The lines of cars going in and out can get ridiculous too. We usually go to the Magna location even though its further away. At least its not busy.

Buying booze on Saturday night in Utah is reminiscent of shopping at Best Buy on Black Friday. This government controlled monopoly is a confusing and obnoxious contradiction in a state dominated by conservative/neo-libertarian political ideology. UTAH IS WEIRD!

Its a state liquor store so... Taxation is theft. However it has good selections of liquor, beer and wine. You can get high point beer here and in Utah we have liquor laws that limit profit made on alcohol so you can save a lot of money on high end booze here.

Over all the staff are excellent , most of us know exactly what we want so lines are very fast the reason why there isnt a larger wone selection is because thereis a state wine store and not all beer is supposed to be refrigerated..... thank you

All liquor stores in UT are state run. This one is decent. They have the popular bottles, but dont expect too many pricey items. Staff is very friendly and always help when I have a question. The parking lot can be busy on weekends.

In town from Washington. It was a very foreign thing for me to buy my craft beer at a liquor store however I was very pleased with the selection and pricing. Had to knock down a couple stars due to the beer not being refrigerated

They sell alcohol. Thats it. The place is clean, well stocked, and not terribly expensive. Dont try to make a quick trip on a Friday or Saturday night, though.
