I had an appointment today for 12:00 pm I had this appointment for over 2 weeks, I got a text from Laura the artist @ 7:30am today, 4 and half hours before I was scheduled to go in, she hurt her back and couldnt do my tattoo. I told her I took the day off from work and was loosing money to get my tattoo she told me to go again and come in and she would do as much as she possibly could...so I was excited again to get my half sleeve started. She calls me back 1 hour before I was suppose to be there and said she just couldnt do it and wanted to reschedule for the 2nd of October. Needless to say I wont be going back so I just went in and got my deposit back and went to Big Deluxe. The staff over there were very professional and easy to work with.ill be be getting my arm worked on in 4 days on Sunday. So if you go to SLC ink I dont recommend her as your artist. The receptionist there was very nice and gave me a $100 gift certificate to come back, I seriously doubt I will...

If you need a tattoo, look no further. This place, and everyone that works inside of it is a grade-A bad ass, USDA approved. They sling the sickest ink, and they have the sickest talent this side of the Mason Dixon line. You might think theyre pricey, but its worth it, and we all know what mama says about getting what you pay for! This place is so clean that the last time I went I had to take off my containment suit to get inked. The staff here is always a blast to talk to, and so friendly that you will think youre addicted to tattoos, but youre really just addicted to their personalities. I have been coming here for over 12 months, and Jake takes care of me every time like a straight up G. I dont think I can get a tattoo at another establishment. This review is 100% serious, I just dont feel everything should be so serious all the time. Inquire at the front desk about their printer ownership program! I went in for my first tattoo and it was the biggest mistake of my life. When I got it I noticed the straight lines were crooked. When I asked why I was told thats just how it is until it heals. I got each planet on my forearm and the rings around Saturn are completely uneven and not the same size. I was told to let it heal and I probably wouldnt need touch ups but if I did just call. I called to get an appointment for touch ups the artist supposedly wasnt there every day. I went in completely polite asking if anything could be done to fix it. I got told in a very rude way by another artist its not his responsibility and I shouldnt expect all tattoos to be straight. I will post my tattoo in the Google photos its absolutely horrible and Im stuck with it forever. I even gave him a big tip. Please save your money and go to Big Deluxe Tattoo right down the road they are going to help me fix it.

I went to SLC Ink to get a chest piece done that was going to take around 4 sessions I scheduled 2 months in advanced. When I showed up my artist was late and we didnt get started till an hour and a half after my appointment. Line work was amazing and I am super happy with the way it turned out after the first session. I had a family emergency come up making it so I couldnt go to met next session so I gave them a call (1 week before my next appointment) and said I wasnt going to be able to make it. I was told that they werent able to find my appointment and they said they would figure it out and call me back. That was 4 months ago. When I called again to just get my deposit back ($100) they said they wouldnt be able to refund it because I never finished my sessions. Overall, the tattoo is amazing. The experience however was terrible.

I had an amazing experience with SLC Ink Tattoo from the moment I walked in the door! Siri is the one who is doing my tattoo and I couldnt have asked for anyone better. She took the idea I had in my head and ran with it to make it exactly what I imagined. Everyone there is super friendly and its a clean establishment. Im someone who spends a lot of time trying to find the right tattoo shop and coming from Cali I was super cautious about where I wanted to go. I definitely would recommend this shop to anyone! I wouldnt want to go anywhere else to get tattooed after coming to SLC Ink Tattoo! Amazing work guys keep doing what you are doing!

Great experience for my first tattoo! They had a well-kept, professional atmosphere and awesome customer service, while still maintaining that tongue-in-cheek attitude one would expect from a bunch of inked-up punks;) Really, though, they were great at communicating with me beforehand via email & phone, then helping me find an artist (Dom) who totally got my vision of what I wanted done and did an EXCELLENT job. I had some questions on aftercare that I emailed in to them later that day at like 1 am, and I got a response within a few hours! Great shop. Been referring anyone who asks about the sweet nautilus tattoo on my calf!

Where do I start? There are so many good things to say about SLC Ink! The atmosphere is great, the staff is amazing and I clicked with my artist, Siri, right away. I could go on and on about how amazing Siri is. Her work is phenomenal, but I also felt like I walked away with a new friend after my appointment. I met 1 other person while I was there (Cam) and he was what I can only describe as a genuinely good person. Seriously though, if youre on the fence about SLC Ink, its time to get off that fence and pay them a visit! Youll be glad you did.

I went in with an idea of what I wanted for my tattoo and I had it almost pictured in my head. Harley worked on my design and when it was presented to me it was different than the image I had pictured in my head but that is not a bad thing because it was even better than I imagined. The tattoo didnt take super long. I am super happy with the overall quality of the service here and would definitely recommend it to friends and colleagues and I would definitely be back. Harley killed it. He is an amazing artist.

From the time I walked in with an idea to the time I left everyone was so nice and accommodating. Charlie was super sweet and talked to me enough to settle my nerves. Jared...oh my gosh. I cant rave enough about this guy. He was so willing to take my daughters sketch and turn it into a beautiful rendition of her ideas.
