Im usually very kind but was very disappointed in this company! I called and no answer. He called back from a different number and when I mentioned the BOGO one month supply he didnt listen and tried to hard sell me on a year supply. I said no, I saw add on KSL for one month with one free and want that. He suddenly had no time for me and said to order on his website. I had to have my son do it for me. We live in the same town and it took 3 weeks for delivery. When the tiny box arrived it only had six small bags in it, each with only a total of 1,000 calories and supposedly 10-100 calorie servings. Really? 3 of the 6 were drinks which taste like filthy water and main ingredient is sugar. 3 bags were entrees White bean soup. They were not good. Nobody in my family would eat it. I would if I were starving. But 6,000 calories for 2 months? That is false advertising! It is only 3 days of food so what do I do for the other 57 days? STARVE? NEVER BUY FROM THIS DISREPUTABLE COMPANY.

Buyer beware. Like a few other reviewers, I had a terrible experience with Deseret Food Store and their customer service. I purchased a 1 month supply of lunches and dinners through Groupon and submitted my coupon code on the site. Because there is no confirmation after doing this, I emailed their support to make sure my order went through. I was first told that orders would take 1 month to be processed. Then the next day I was emailed asking for confirmation of my coupon code and my address. I was content thinking that my order had been confirmed and would eventually show up, I didnt mind the long wait since they had been upfront about it. However, after 2 months I had not received any product. I emailed their support and tried calling in order to resolve the issue. Their customer service was rude, stubborn, and completely unhelpful. They even insulted my intelligence at one point. I eventually had to work through Groupon to get a refund. Stay far away from this company.

I have purchased a total of 3 times from Deseret, and each time I had a great experience, and the order was timely and accurate. The customer service has always been on point when i have worked with Deseret, so I am shocked by some of the experiences from other negative reviews. One other aspect to the ordering experience with Deseret was communication. From the very first time that I browsed the Deseret web site and analyzed their products and prices to my most recent transaction , communication about each order has been quick, friendly, helpful, and clear. The product, in my opinion, is extremely high end! The Shelf life that Deseret boasts is second to none, and the selection is amazing for emergency supply food. I couldnt ask for anything more from Deseret to have improved the experience, as they nailed it on the head each and every time i dialed their number!

We were excited to get our food storage from them and when they were offering an entire years worth of food for the "Great" price they advertised we immediately purchased. However, from the start it was a horrible experience. It took them months to deliver our food storage, and when we got our "years" worth of food it was in three small boxes that had a total of around 75 bags of food that were the size of Bear Creek Soup bags. At the price we paid it was over 15 dollars per bag and each bag was supposed to last us 5 days. When we tried to get a refund from the company they never responded and just kept sending us advertisements. Luckily we had purchased the deal through KSL deals and after talking to them they immediately gave us a refund. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Dont waste your money on this joke of a company.

After researching many food storage companies I found this to be the best deal for the price with a long 25 yr. shelf life. I bought a 2 yr. supply with the idea that I could feed my family of 4 for 6 months. The food tastes great and the customer service was top notch. When I went to pick up my supply, they had ran out of whey milk. They let me pick more servings of food in replace of the milk. I had a friend that also bought the same 2 yr. supply and was very happy. This is survival food not survival feasts. I will probably divide the 5 servings into 4. We have many food storage suppliers here in Utah and this one cant be beat. You can buy a 3 or 4 yr. supply cheaper than most 1 yr. supplies from other dealers. I will buy again.

I was surprised at reading the other reviews listed here because my experience was almost the opposite of many of these. I purchased my food at a great buy off of Groupon and submitted my coupon to Deseret Food Storages website. I wasnt sure they got it and so emailed them to double check. They were very prompt in responding to me and helpful in assisting me with my order. The package arrived a short few days later. I stayed in touch with them via email after the package arrived and they were conscientious and understanding in assisting me with my concerns. Four stars for the quick delivery and the helpful customer service.

If I could give this company zero stars, I would. They have the most horrid customer service! I purchased a Groupon as a gift for my mother. After two and a half months of waiting, we never received her product. They never answer their phone. They never return voicemail messages. Someone named Jenny did respond to my email eventually with a non-intelligent, unhelpful, script-like response. I finally asked Groupon for a refund. I wouldnt purchase product from a company with such horrible communication and service. Save yourself the hassle, and go somewhere else!

I ordered food storage a couple times and had a great experience both times. Yes, it takes a few weeks to receive your order, but I was expecting that and wasnt in a hurry. I just ordered it for backup in case of emergency (natural disaster, sudden unemployment, etc) and found the prices reasonable, especially with their frequent deals and special offers. The delivery guy was very friendly and the meal options were perfect for my family. Overall I was very happy with my order experience.

Weve been on the monthly auto-delivery program for about 6 months now. This is the most convenient and easiest way to budget for home prep and food storage. Everything is always there around first of the month without fail. Same price every month and the easiest way to work up to at least a years worth of food storage on a budget. The food is great tasting, nutritional and easy enough for the kids to cook too. We will continue with the plan Thanks Deseret Foodstore Davey J

The boxes came. Ive only tasted one thing, but it was good. The people I interacted with were kind and helpful. And it has a long shelf life. So far, so good. In my research this was the most bang for my buck. When the food was delivered I was surprised how compact it was, fitting in 5 small boxes, but that makes it easy to put in storage, and it seems to be a good amount of food. Time will tell. I still think I got a good enough deal on the food, it was worth it.
